nzbeeker thanks for the comment. Me and the gf love being able to chat while we're riding together. Especially when she can tell me how to drive. I just love it when she does that lol. Unfortunately, I'm starting to really not liking the quality of the music, but I am spoiled with some really nice headphones I use daily.

It supposedly will. I tried pairing it with my friends Sena but could not figure it out lol. I'm sure a little diligence is required.

If no other solution is found this might work. Aliexpress sells a great little gadget for less than $5 that is a bluetooth transmitter and a bt reciever in one. One of these might pair with your device but if not using two of these instead of the existing bt signals will definately pair with eachother. All you'll need to do to send your devices signal thru and to these bt devices is connect the audio to them and supply them with 5 volts dc. If your innovative you'll adapt a circuit board from a cig lghtr phone charger and get 5v. I have even taken the device outr of its small plastic housing to delete the big usb male plug sticking out and simply solder on 2 wires that run out instead making it half the size it was before.This could easily fit inside your helmet.

Hey, I just bought the same set up, HJC IS-17 with V6-1200 but when I installed the inercom in to the helmet I realized there is no "factory" place for the speakers and so they are really hurting my ears, they should be deeper in the side of the helmet. Have you experienced this?

hey my volume on mine is a little low i turn it all the way up on my phone an on the intercom. the package came with 2 an 1 of them are good the other 1 is not.any way i can reset the intercom or get loader volume out of it
Josh L sounds like it might be a defective unit. Try playing with the location of the speakers. That made a big difference for me. Also the volume on your phone should be adjusted as well. If that doesn't work is see about getting a replacement.
Will this work as well with open face helmet??

Do you find the microphone pushes against your chin or lip?
Not at all. I'm sure it has more to do with the helmet size. There's plenty of space in my helmet.
