Just wanted to add an update after having used the BT units for close to 4 months. The units are still working great and I have not regretted the purchase at all. In fact I am considering purchasing a few more for our riding club, although one minor issue that did come up recently would be a design issue/flaw. As a year round rider (One of the joys of living in Vancouver, BC) I found the issue when my winter gear came out. The extra bulk was causing an issue. Every time I tried to shoulder check (Yes, I really do those) the audio plug would catch on the seam of my jacket. This caused a lot of flexing at the point where the wires enter the plug and eventually led to a break in one of the wires. This caused an intermittent loss of audio on the right speaker. The issue was obvious. The audio input plug attaches to the bottom of the unit sits a little to low and would catch or get jammed when I turned my head. Solution: Ordered a low profile 90 Deg audio plug from Amazon ($3.00) and zap strapped it to the BT unit so it wouldn't move. Took the speaker/mike setup from my spare unit and used some heat sink at the point where the wires go into the plug just to give it a little more rigidity. Plugged it in and good as new. Using the low profile 90 deg plug added enough clearance that my jacket no longer catches on the wiring. Also worthy of note is the battery life. It is still giving me 12+ hours per charge which has exceeded my expectations. Another comment mentioned not being able to hear his wife (really fighting the urge to add some kind of comment here :) :) ) without having to yell. If my wife has her modular open, then it can be a little difficult at highway speeds, but in town I haven't had an issue. Just had to get her into the habit of making sure the mike is close to her mouth. So after having put this unit through hell it still performs the way it did when It first came out of the box. If they could move the position of the input jack it would be pretty much perfect, but a minor issue once you have identified it. I bought two and had problems hearing out of both! Come to find out the head set wasn't getting a good connection with the transmitter. I got a flat head screw driver and ream the hole on the transmitter(where the speaker and mic connects to) to remove some of the plastic and it works great now. If you are having a lot of static, or the unit cutting in and out, break out the flat head.
I've been using this for about 3 months now and I must say that it is AMAZING. The volume on this thing is really good and the mic does an amazing job at cutting out wind noises. My helmet doesn't even have a chin cover. One thing that I would like everyone to know is that this unit is not waterproof. The headset jack opening at the bottom is where water can get in from. That being said, the intercom can be used in light to medium rains if the headset jack is properly inserted into the unit but try to avoid heavy downpours. How do I know this? Because my friend's unit stopped working after he rode in heavy rain. I opened the unit to see if I could fix it but the water had already damaged the circuits. You should definitely buy this if you're on a budget. I've never really used the Senas but I don't think there is a better intercom out there at this price. Great VFM! I've been using these for ATV riding for the past 2 years and I'm amazed at the quality of the sound. The batteries last a long time and the range is excellent. I only have 2 so the buttons are not an issue, but I can use them by touch no problem. I would agree with everything you said.
Thank you! this is the only video I could find on these that tells you how to do more than just pair the headset. Now I can make calls by double tapping the phone button to bring up Google. This was not included in the manual. The speakers do seem to have pretty good sound quality and volume. I can't wait to test them out on the bike now.

Canadian Rider Thank you and I already subscribed. I was originally going to get a sena but for as expensive as they are I can't believe that they are not waterproof. I think every motorcycle Bluetooth should be. I've been rained on many times out riding and don't want to have to worry about the rain ruining the not cheap device.
I bought this set for a bud of mine and myself to take a trip into the mountains, and they worked perfectly. Range is pretty close to advertised even in the hills. Battery life was better than expected. Definitely worth the money in my opinion for a budget device. no regrets on my end. Ride safe
Hi buddy, Bought these after watching your vid. Used them today for the first time, and have to say easy to install, easy to pair up. Good sound on the intercom, even at 60mph. Had music playing, not very basey but ok to listen to. Might have been my imagination but intercom seemed more basey at low speed and a little more tinny at higher speed. I wondered if it was something to do with the noise cancellation facility. Sat nav instructions from Google maps butted in when it needed to and then went back to the music. Paid £61.99 in the UK for a dual set, which seems worth every penny so far. Not used them as bike to bike yet, but look forward to trying them. Shame they don't do group chat, but as you say for that money they're still a good buy. Seem to be well built with a good finish on them. Got them mounted on Nolan helmets and the ear pieces just manage to fit into the round cut outs in the helmets. Thanks again for the review, it made my mind up on these.
When connected to your phone: Increase the volume: Short press of the V+ key Reduce the volume: Short press of the V- key Next song: Hold the -V key Previous song: Hold the +v key Siri: (iPhone only), press the phone button twice (2x) Call the last number in your phone: Hold the phone button. I just got ones, Tried it, music, calls Omg. Was not expecting such greatness for so little. It doesn't have the bass, but who cares... The call quality is amazing good for what I was expecting. I'm selling the product to all my friends!! Shame there are no test review anywhere

Great review. I just installed one as a replacement for my Shark-Tooth unit which cost me near $400.0 CDN. Came across the V6 on Ebay, and it seemed to have some solid reviews, so figured what the hell, for the price I'll risk it. I found the same as the poster:Pro's The first time I used it I was shocked. The sound from the speakers was equal to if not better (I think the bass is better) than my more expensive Shark unit. The speaker volume was fantastic. I wear a Shark Evoline 3 which is always in 3/4 mode. At 50Kmh or 130Kmh the speakers were loud enough to hear without having to be on MAX. Sound quality was great through all the ranges.Phone function was easy to figure out.Good battery lifeQuick charge time.ConSmall buttons. Will just take time to orientate my fingures to where they are.Keep up the great work. :)
Glad to be back. Also thought I would add another observation. Just returned from a fantastic 12 day ride from Vancouver BC down to Reno, and back up the 101 via Sacramento.Always taking the long way.. :) most days were from 8 to 12 hours, and the battery on the unit never drained. My longest day was just over 13 hours and it was still playing my tunes when I got to the hotel. The unit far exceeded any expectations I had. Heck, even my $350.00 Sharktooth couldn't match that.And with my helmet in 3/4 mode, I was still able to hear my music at 100 kmh plus on the highway, even with the visor up. This is without a doubt one of the best purchases I have made this year.Keep up the good work and ride safe..

I would say the device had also a group Chat function so it is possible that all people can talk to each other at the same time. You can decide if you want to talk to 1 people or to all
Great video Canadian Rider, very clear and concise.. well done. The device does look a little bit bulky in terms of creating drag but the clarity of audio, range and hopefully good battery life have sold me. The price also being a factor of course.
This is as close to a accurate review of this product as you will get, I've had mine for over a year now and the audio quality is exceptional, and I agree, it's better than my mobile phone mic & earpiece! Yes, the buttons are a little small, but I too use the same method to find the buttons. Talk time & standby time are as long as stated even after a year, and the range is fantastic out on the open road, meh, a fair bit less in built up areas, but still more than suitable if your mate gets stuck at a red light, of course, if your on a cell call to your buddy this isn't a problem. It's easy to install, fairly unobtrusive, and once you've paired it once, pairing is easy. I've had no issues with the shoulder check, however before fixing I did arrange the mounting location to take into account the plug, and also, I'm a pussy, I don't ride in the winter... So thumbs up for a excellent review Neil, ride safe...
Bought a set and faulty out of the box. After spending an hour struggling to to test them whilst wondering which of the buttons is the 'open' button mentioned in the instructions (a designation which doesn't match the labelling in the manual - it's the one with the motorbike logo if you're wondering) and pressing various combinations to no effect, I tried pairing one unit with the phone and finally realised that the volume buttons are the 'wrong way' round - the bottom button increases the volume, the top button decreases it. I'd managed to set both units to almost zero. So with some volume I went back to testing the intercom function, which steadfastly refused to work. After swapping the headsets around again, I realised that I could transmit from one to the other but not the other way round. More testing and I discovered one set had faulty sound, with nothing coming out of either of the headsets. Paired it with the phone again so I could test with a couple of alternative earpieces whilst music was playing, I discovered an intermittent connection that crackled and went off with the slightest movement of the jack. Whilst trying to get the intercom to work, I did discover the last number redial function and inadvertently called my partner on the unit with sound. Although I was at the PC and not on the bike the call quality was clear enough for both of us. The unit's chunky and solid-feeling, with decent thickness wires to the speakers themselves, and from the boom mic to the jack (a weak point on a lot of these headsets) but unfortunately the problem with the socket doesn't fill me with confidence about the build quality So I'm afraid these are 'return to sender' for a refund.
Had a Scala rider g9. I also shoulder check, anyway my unit got knocked off and was driven over by a RV brfore I could retrieve it. So bought one of these on a whim while I save up for a "better" unit. Other then not having VOX it works great and has very good sound. Dont think I will be saving up for that better unit anymore! PS I'm from Vancouver island
hey bro can u plz tell me how many people can talk at the same time in group intercom?i mean many people say we talk with 6 people at the same time but like u said we can talk with one person at a time and what about the 1.2km range were you able to listen everything loud and clear??? thanks in advance

Hi Canadian Rider - thanks for a great video! I'm so close to pulling the trigger on 3 headsets. I have 1 question though, I know you said in the comments 7 months ago that the microphone is attached to the speakers so separate earbuds aren't an option, but have you heard of anyone trying a standard 3.5mm splitter (so the microphone and speakers still work), but earbuds can be used too? I have a high quality pair and would really like to use them. That's been my main thing when looking at intercoms, and the cheapest that I can find that have them designed that way is the Sena SMH10 (and even then you have to buy their $35 adapter), which is WAY more expensive than this! Even if the splitter won't work, I'm considering paying an electronics person to splice into the microphone/speaker line to get a connection! Thanks so much -- John

Yes, there's a guy on one of the amazon reviews for this product that talks about splicing in. I was just curious if you'd heard of anyone using a standard 3.5mm splitter and not splicing into the product :) Either way, I'm gonna get of set of these, too many positive experiences written about! Really good review. Thanks for posting. One question, what's it like when travelling at high speed. Can you still hear the other rider talking to you. I had a cheap set (not these) a while back but stopped using cause above 60Mph I couldn't hear my buddy.

It certainly helps to wear earplugs when you're on the highway as it drowns out all the windows so you're able to hear the high frequency sound of voices coming from the speaker. To answer your question sometimes it is harder to hear if you're going fast on the highway period but at 60 miles per hour or a hundred kilometers an hour with earplugs it I have no problems hearing other people. But increased at speed above that and you will start having a problem
Just got this badboy, works great and is super loud. Have you tried connecting to other BT units, like the Sena? I plan on using it primarily for music, podcasts, whatever, but it'd be nice if it worked with my friends' units

Ralph Dratman it does! let's say you have the headset saved on Rider 1. next time you simply click it once and it auto connects. no need to pair everytime

Hello! Can I connect more bluetooth devices GPS+MP3 or Cell phone. If it is possible, how many devices can work at the same time? If they cann't work at the same tame, how I switch between devices? I'm using Hurob S100, there is possible to connect 3 bluetooth devices, but it is hard to switch between devices. Thanks for your time and fine review!
Awesome Review!! I have one question on how communication works. Let's say I'm paired to 2 other devices (we are 3 riders). If I click on driver 1, I guess we are able to constant/fluid communicate unless one of us clicks other button (function) or the 3rd driver click to communicate with one of us. Therefore once you are speaking with someone, remains like an open call until someone change to other conversation(function), right? Thanks beforehand!

I ride both motorcycle and dune buggy, so it's going be great to be able to speak with my passenger and be heard. We wear helmets while riding the dune buggy, something like the one your wearing in the video... By the way, Great idea of the GoPro mount to the helmet. Its been a while, so I wanted to jump in and say I got two sets, and man I love em! One set for dune buggy riding, and the other for the motorcycle... Very clear and plenty loud enough... I'm very happy with em... Hope all is a-ok on yer end there... Summers about here time for riding....
What happens when a rider drops out of range? I am assuming they get disconnected, but does it reconnect once they are back in range? Or do you have to push one of the buttons?

Meglification Yes you can be connected but it won't play in the background. will only work one thing at a time but will still be connected and ready for when your done chatting with your friend you can instantly start playing music or whatever
Hmm. So if I understand you right you need to manualy switch between the two devices (Phone and the other headset)? Or does it just cut out the GPS when someone speaks? :)

I was wondering how this has held up now that you've been using it a while? I had also been looking at the Sena units, but man 300+ dollars for one is unreal for the average working person.
Still holding up great. No problems. Battery life still stunning. I charge the unit once every 3 weeks riding 2 to 3 times a week. Battery life is stupid impressive. Some friends have resorted to unit double sided sticky tape as the clip broke on them, minor nuisance.

Hey Canadian Rider!!!!!One thing that you have missed is about the charging jack in this device. What kind of charging jack do this thing have?? I had BTS-2 helmet bluetooth kit. It had a single jack for charging and connectiong headphone/mic . After some charging cycles, the jack deteriorated. And BTS-2 ended up being in my garbage box after 3 months of use. Great video! I've got the another question. If I'm not talking with my friend for a while (for example 5 minutes) will the intercoms go into some standby mode? I'm asking becuase in EJEAS E6 intercoms (similiar price) in this case devices go in standby mode and if someone want to tell something, the second one will hear it after a while (the beginning of a sentence will be cut off). It's annoying when you want to inform your friend here and right now about eg. oil stain on the road...

I've owned these as well as the scala q3, and I would definitely pay the extra and go with the q3. The audio quality as well as the volume are way more superior on the q3. The q3 is also 10x easier to use, and it comes with an app for your phone as well. Also only being able to talk to 1 other rider at a time is a huge downfall. I Found a perfect condition used pair of scala q3's online for $200. Trust me, do your research, don't waste your money on these.

However, I was wondering if there is another way to mount the V6, since my new helmet (C3) doesn't seem to fit the mount so well. I love the look and price of these units however I'm sightly confused. If I want to talk to a different rider do I need to press a button each time or will the unit switch over automatically when a different rider speaks???
Hello! I bought this headset and installed in yesterday. Today i used it for the first time and the sound is very low. Tryed to stream music via spotify on my iphone 7, i couldnt hear anything when i was driving in about 80km/h. Am i doing something wrong? I didnt hide the speakers behind anything in the helmet, i had a "prefixed area" so i did put the speakers right there and did hide the wires... Anyone else with this problem? Will new speakers fix the problem? great video, made me buy em! :)
with other speaker systems, I found you have to make sure your volume on your cell phone or mp3 are also turned up to the max or the sound won't come thru.

it's so incredibly hard to align the two pieces of clip to either side of the helmet. I took both the padding and even had to unscrew the inner and outer shell to get them close enough that the angle was straight enough for a screw. they need to redesign the clamp side, it's at much too straight of an angle for helmets when they're curved.

Canadian Rider Thank you and I already subscribed. I was originally going to get a sena but for as expensive as they are I can't believe that they are not waterproof. I think every motorcycle Bluetooth should be. I've been rained on many times out riding and don't want to have to worry about the rain ruining the not cheap device.
Exactly :) Plus the SENA's are redic overpriced so they don't get my money!
I bought this set for a bud of mine and myself to take a trip into the mountains, and they worked perfectly. Range is pretty close to advertised even in the hills. Battery life was better than expected. Definitely worth the money in my opinion for a budget device. no regrets on my end. Ride safe

Bought these after watching your vid.
Used them today for the first time, and have to say easy to install, easy to pair up.
Good sound on the intercom, even at 60mph. Had music playing, not very basey but ok to listen to.
Might have been my imagination but intercom seemed more basey at low speed and a little more tinny at higher speed. I wondered if it was something to do with the noise cancellation facility.
Sat nav instructions from Google maps butted in when it needed to and then went back to the music.
Paid £61.99 in the UK for a dual set, which seems worth every penny so far. Not used them as bike to bike yet, but look forward to trying them.
Shame they don't do group chat, but as you say for that money they're still a good buy.
Seem to be well built with a good finish on them. Got them mounted on Nolan helmets and the ear pieces just manage to fit into the round cut outs in the helmets.

You are absolutely correct... i've been using this for about more than 6 months... worth for money .
When connected to your phone:
Increase the volume: Short press of the V+ key
Reduce the volume: Short press of the V- key
Next song: Hold the -V key
Previous song: Hold the +v key
Siri: (iPhone only), press the phone button twice (2x)
Call the last number in your phone: Hold the phone button.

I just got ones, Tried it, music, calls Omg. Was not expecting such greatness for so little. It doesn't have the bass, but who cares... The call quality is amazing good for what I was expecting. I'm selling the product to all my friends!! Shame there are no test review anywhere

I've owned and tested these as well. Very impressed with them. You pretty much hit every single thing about these. For the price, these things rock. Great review. I just installed one as a replacement for my Shark-Tooth unit which cost me near $400.0 CDN. Came across the V6 on Ebay, and it seemed to have some solid reviews, so figured what the hell, for the price I'll risk it. I found the same as the poster:Pro's The first time I used it I was shocked. The sound from the speakers was equal to if not better (I think the bass is better) than my more expensive Shark unit. The speaker volume was fantastic. I wear a Shark Evoline 3 which is always in 3/4 mode. At 50Kmh or 130Kmh the speakers were loud enough to hear without having to be on MAX. Sound quality was great through all the ranges.Phone function was easy to figure out.Good battery lifeQuick charge time.ConSmall buttons. Will just take time to orientate my fingures to where they are.Keep up the great work. :)

Glad to be back. Also thought I would add another observation. Just returned from a fantastic 12 day ride from Vancouver BC down to Reno, and back up the 101 via Sacramento.Always taking the long way.. :) most days were from 8 to 12 hours, and the battery on the unit never drained. My longest day was just over 13 hours and it was still playing my tunes when I got to the hotel. The unit far exceeded any expectations I had. Heck, even my $350.00 Sharktooth couldn't match that.And with my helmet in 3/4 mode, I was still able to hear my music at 100 kmh plus on the highway, even with the visor up. This is without a doubt one of the best purchases I have made this year.Keep up the good work and ride safe..

I would say the device had also a group Chat function so it is possible that all people can talk to each other at the same time. You can decide if you want to talk to 1 people or to all
Not on this unit. I am not sure if you are talking about another unit but on this unit you CANNOT group chat.
Great video Canadian Rider, very clear and concise.. well done. The device does look a little bit bulky in terms of creating drag but the clarity of audio, range and hopefully good battery life have sold me. The price also being a factor of course.
This is as close to a accurate review of this product as you will get, I've had mine for over a year now and the audio quality is exceptional, and I agree, it's better than my mobile phone mic & earpiece! Yes, the buttons are a little small, but I too use the same method to find the buttons. Talk time & standby time are as long as stated even after a year, and the range is fantastic out on the open road, meh, a fair bit less in built up areas, but still more than suitable if your mate gets stuck at a red light, of course, if your on a cell call to your buddy this isn't a problem. It's easy to install, fairly unobtrusive, and once you've paired it once, pairing is easy. I've had no issues with the shoulder check, however before fixing I did arrange the mounting location to take into account the plug, and also, I'm a pussy, I don't ride in the winter... So thumbs up for a excellent review Neil, ride safe...

Bought a set and faulty out of the box. After spending an hour struggling to to test them whilst wondering which of the buttons is the 'open' button mentioned in the instructions (a designation which doesn't match the labelling in the manual - it's the one with the motorbike logo if you're wondering) and pressing various combinations to no effect, I tried pairing one unit with the phone and finally realised that the volume buttons are the 'wrong way' round - the bottom button increases the volume, the top button decreases it. I'd managed to set both units to almost zero.
So with some volume I went back to testing the intercom function, which steadfastly refused to work. After swapping the headsets around again, I realised that I could transmit from one to the other but not the other way round.
More testing and I discovered one set had faulty sound, with nothing coming out of either of the headsets. Paired it with the phone again so I could test with a couple of alternative earpieces whilst music was playing, I discovered an intermittent connection that crackled and went off with the slightest movement of the jack.
Whilst trying to get the intercom to work, I did discover the last number redial function and inadvertently called my partner on the unit with sound. Although I was at the PC and not on the bike the call quality was clear enough for both of us.
The unit's chunky and solid-feeling, with decent thickness wires to the speakers themselves, and from the boom mic to the jack (a weak point on a lot of these headsets) but unfortunately the problem with the socket doesn't fill me with confidence about the build quality
So I'm afraid these are 'return to sender' for a refund.
Damn man, sorry to hear that your units are having that many problems. I would return and get another set expedited to you!
Had a Scala rider g9. I also shoulder check, anyway my unit got knocked off and was driven over by a RV brfore I could retrieve it.
So bought one of these on a whim while I save up for a "better" unit. Other then not having VOX it works great and has very good sound.
Dont think I will be saving up for that better unit anymore!

Hi Canadian Rider - thanks for a great video! I'm so close to pulling the trigger on 3 headsets. I have 1 question though, I know you said in the comments 7 months ago that the microphone is attached to the speakers so separate earbuds aren't an option, but have you heard of anyone trying a standard 3.5mm splitter (so the microphone and speakers still work), but earbuds can be used too? I have a high quality pair and would really like to use them. That's been my main thing when looking at intercoms, and the cheapest that I can find that have them designed that way is the Sena SMH10 (and even then you have to buy their $35 adapter), which is WAY more expensive than this! Even if the splitter won't work, I'm considering paying an electronics person to splice into the microphone/speaker line to get a connection! Thanks so much -- John
Hey John, yes people HAVE made custom splitters for the purpose you describe as their is not a product available on the market. Yes it is possible and I think you will love these units, great value here
Yes, there's a guy on one of the amazon reviews for this product that talks about splicing in. I was just curious if you'd heard of anyone using a standard 3.5mm splitter and not splicing into the product :) Either way, I'm gonna get of set of these, too many positive experiences written about! Really good review. Thanks for posting. One question, what's it like when travelling at high speed. Can you still hear the other rider talking to you. I had a cheap set (not these) a while back but stopped using cause above 60Mph I couldn't hear my buddy.

It certainly helps to wear earplugs when you're on the highway as it drowns out all the windows so you're able to hear the high frequency sound of voices coming from the speaker. To answer your question sometimes it is harder to hear if you're going fast on the highway period but at 60 miles per hour or a hundred kilometers an hour with earplugs it I have no problems hearing other people. But increased at speed above that and you will start having a problem
Just got this badboy, works great and is super loud. Have you tried connecting to other BT units, like the Sena? I plan on using it primarily for music, podcasts, whatever, but it'd be nice if it worked with my friends' units

I have one question on how communication works. Let's say I'm paired to 2 other devices (we are 3 riders). If I click on driver 1, I guess we are able to constant/fluid communicate unless one of us clicks other button (function) or the 3rd driver click to communicate with one of us. Therefore once you are speaking with someone, remains like an open call until someone change to other conversation(function), right?

I ride both motorcycle and dune buggy, so it's going be great to be able to speak with my passenger and be heard. We wear helmets while riding the dune buggy, something like the one your wearing in the video... By the way, Great idea of the GoPro mount to the helmet. Its been a while, so I wanted to jump in and say I got two sets, and man I love em! One set for dune buggy riding, and the other for the motorcycle... Very clear and plenty loud enough... I'm very happy with em... Hope all is a-ok on yer end there... Summers about here time for riding....

Meglification Yes you can be connected but it won't play in the background. will only work one thing at a time but will still be connected and ready for when your done chatting with your friend you can instantly start playing music or whatever

I was wondering how this has held up now that you've been using it a while? I had also been looking at the Sena units, but man 300+ dollars for one is unreal for the average working person.
Still holding up great. No problems. Battery life still stunning. I charge the unit once every 3 weeks riding 2 to 3 times a week. Battery life is stupid impressive. Some friends have resorted to unit double sided sticky tape as the clip broke on them, minor nuisance.

Hey Canadian Rider!!!!!One thing that you have missed is about the charging jack in this device. What kind of charging jack do this thing have??
I had BTS-2 helmet bluetooth kit. It had a single jack for charging and connectiong headphone/mic . After some charging cycles, the jack deteriorated. And BTS-2 ended up being in my garbage box after 3 months of use.
It will be a great help if you can provde some info about it.

Great video! I've got the another question. If I'm not talking with my friend for a while (for example 5 minutes) will the intercoms go into some standby mode? I'm asking becuase in EJEAS E6 intercoms (similiar price) in this case devices go in standby mode and if someone want to tell something, the second one will hear it after a while (the beginning of a sentence will be cut off). It's annoying when you want to inform your friend here and right now about eg. oil stain on the road...

I've owned these as well as the scala q3, and I would definitely pay the extra and go with the q3. The audio quality as well as the volume are way more superior on the q3. The q3 is also 10x easier to use, and it comes with an app for your phone as well. Also only being able to talk to 1 other rider at a time is a huge downfall. I Found a perfect condition used pair of scala q3's online for $200. Trust me, do your research, don't waste your money on these.

However, I was wondering if there is another way to mount the V6, since my new helmet (C3) doesn't seem to fit the mount so well. I can't find anything about a glue mount on the web :(

I bought this headset and installed in yesterday. Today i used it for the first time and the sound is very low. Tryed to stream music via spotify on my iphone 7, i couldnt hear anything when i was driving in about 80km/h.
Am i doing something wrong? I didnt hide the speakers behind anything in the helmet, i had a "prefixed area" so i did put the speakers right there and did hide the wires... Anyone else with this problem?
Will new speakers fix the problem?

with other speaker systems, I found you have to make sure your volume on your cell phone or mp3 are also turned up to the max or the sound won't come thru.
Just ordered mine (wanted to get the full duplex but could only find sets of 4 and my riding buddys cheap or poor lol) thanks to your review. I ride a R6 thats pretty loud how is the volume at high speeds with the music and phone calls?
High speeds it will be hard to hear, anything under 80 kmph is easy

it's so incredibly hard to align the two pieces of clip to either side of the helmet. I took both the padding and even had to unscrew the inner and outer shell to get them close enough that the angle was straight enough for a screw. they need to redesign the clamp side, it's at much too straight of an angle for helmets when they're curved.
