Superb documentary very well presented . The Reddy Clan of South India and the Rathod Rajputs have common origin in the Rashtrakuta Dynasty ; the Reddy Clan descended from the Saundatti Rattas/ Rashtrakutas and Rathod Rajputs descended from the Rashtrakutas of Kannauj who were a branch of the Deccan Rashtrakutas , both Reddy and Rathod Clan belong to the ancient Rashtrika tribe mentioned in Samrat Ashoka rock Edicts , the Rashtrika tribe established the magnificent Rashtrakuta Dynasty and after it's disintegration the Reddy Clan family established the Kakatiya dynasty in Telangana and Kondavidu Reddy Dynasty in Andhra Pradesh , the Reddy and Rathod Clan have done great service to the mother land Bharath since ancient times 👍. 🚩⚔️ Jai Suryavamshi Rashtrakoot Rajput Rathod/ Reddy/ Kushwaha / Pratihar zindabad .

Dear Siva Reddy garu, fantastic job, I hope you remember me from about the middle of last month when I joined a group of school children who were taken out to the fort by INTACH. It was a great day the weather was perfect for what we did and the tour was pretty organized. The feeling was overwhelming to be walking, touching and experiencing the land and the place where a glorious time has happened. The next time I would like to do a trip again the road way and other infrastructure being made will have shaped up and completed to make it even more of a trek and trail. thanks to the local man/guide who knew every inch of the area probably would be the right guy to chalk out a few different trekking paths on the top within the fort area. Once completed and ready it will be a popular spot for people who would like to get out into the open, unwind in the nature, walk and feel everything that the people have in the glorious past when they were all around there alive and flourishing. You are doing great work and I wish the positive energy stays with you forever in your endeavor to revive the past glory of this fort. Big hearty congratulations to you and all your team.

Araamuthan Amuthan Reddy Clan have a great history behind them, during Ashoka time Reddies were known as Rashtrika in Deccan and they formed a great Rashtrakuta dynasty and ruled Deccan from 4th AD to 1050 AD. The great Aryan Reddy clan known as Rattakuda/guda originally immigrated into Deccan from Punjab area and settled all over in south India, during ancient period Reddygar were Suryavamshi Kshatriya Clan and northern Rathod Rajputs too belong to Reddy family and got separated after the downfall of the great imperial Rashtrakutas.

Guys, You have done fabulous job, Reddys are always there for Country "INDIA" and to "Rule India and Serve the people the best heartfully". Reddys ruled not only AP but also other south states like Karnataka and Tamilnadu also, "I heard The first chief ministers of Karnataka and Tamilnadu are From Reddy clan only".
    First Present Karnataka: "K. Chengalaraya Reddy"(25 October 1947 - 30 March 1952).
First Cheif Minister of Present Tamilnadu: "Diwan Bahadur Agaram Subbarayalu Reddiar", was a landlord, Justice Party leader and Chief Minister or Premier of Madras Presidency from 17 December 1920 to 11 July 1921.
Telugu lo Reddygaru. Tamil lo Reddiars antaru with respect. They are settled in Tamilnadu.
Bottom line is "Fight against Britishers for freedom was first started and led by REDDYs only with so much courage before "Sipaiyula tirugubatu took place"... (Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy) & (Budda Reddy, fought in different time) but our telugu people badness is that being a great thing of telugu pride it did not come into limelight as much because of dirty Caste and reginal feelings and politics, North side media did not highlight much and south side media as well. Hence Most of people from North side and South side as well are not aware of that...

See the history of Kamma, Kapu, Reddy and Velamas. All originated from same ancient tribe. Because of jealousy like above between all these castes, we all are treated as Shudras even though we all are Suryavanshi Kshatriyas.
      Respect each other.
And if u feel, u r Kshatriya, first check urself about Upanayana.

    • @ponnarajashekhar760

Nag Sam Madivada friend dont care about the stupid upanayana, our ancestors had the tradition of vedic upanayana but lost it due to the influence of Jain faith, our ancestors adopted jain faith during Rashtrakuta period, our great Rashtrakuta Emperor Amoghavarsha the great adopted and propagated the jain faith, most Reddies of the deccan took to jain faith, one Malli Reddygar of Telangana who was a jain monk constructed 21 Sivalayas in Telangana to propagate religious tolerance and equality of all religions because the motive of all religions is to make mankind a civilized and a responsible social identity. No need of upanayana ceremony for kshatriyahood because modern kshatriyas are our armed forces and not a stupid thread wearing baffoon, Stupid Brahmans wrote in secrecy and enjoyed it like sadists, if you see Vedas properly you will understand that all agriculturists were included in Vysya category and in that sense Reddy clan is both a Kshatriya and Vysya in Vedic Varna system. Brahmans are worst Shudhras because of their narrow minded nature and backward thinking, upanayana is just a ceremony of Vedic religion, brahmans wives are devoid of it and they too come under shudhras !. The point is knowledge and our great Yogi Vemana garu was a mine house of Vedas, he studied Vedas and Vedic study was only for upper Varnas in those days then how can you say that Reddies dint have upanayana tradition in any point of time in history, all Reddy kings were Vedic Scholars and ruled by the dharma of Vedas so they were kshatriyas, I need not explain who a Kshatriya was during ancient period, the one who ruled over the people and was the master of a dynasty was the ruler kshatriya and an ordinary soldier too was a kshatriya . So friend dont care about upanayana tradition follow the great Vivekananda and follow atleast five good principles in life. Those who do not wear the thread are shudras ! and whole world is Shudhra according to brahmans but brahmans themselves marry shudhra women because their women are devoid of upanayana ceremony. I hope you got my point. Alexander the great did not wear the sacred thread but he was a world ruler and a monarch and a kshatriya, . Please come out of brahmanic idiocy .

      PONNA RAJASHEKHAR
Yeah bro. I accept that and even i have researched about all these things. And Kshatriyas just mean the person who used Kshstra (weapons). All people from commanders, generals, ministers and Kings, all are kshatriyas according to Bhagavad gita. But the dominance of Brahmins led all the above mentioned castes as shudras.
There was an ancient tribe which originated from Ayodhya. And it was known in history as Kapu.(not to hurt, but truth. An ahara was named as Kapurahara in satavahana rule). With flow of time, many professional and territorial subdivisions took place.
      Kapu of Kammanadu - Kamma
      Kapu of Velanadu - Velama
Kapu who worked as Rathi - Reddy
Kapu who worked as Nayaks - Naidu
likewise all castes originated. They all were considered as sub castes of one big caste. Marriages were happening and it continued till British rule. Nayak rebellion against Delhi Sultanate had max contribution from the above castes only
During British rule, they followed a policy of divide and rule which made them into seperate castes. Because if United, they would have definately over ruled Britishers from Andhradesa.
Actually, the time has come, we must decrease our mutual differences and unite.

Nag Sam Madivada friend today if some baffoon says that Iam a kshatriya because I wear a thread then he is a big fool because merely wearing a thread and chanting Gayatri mantra does not make anybody a kshatriya he must practice his varnas job !. A brahmin, vysya or a shudhra all practice their varnas profession but todays real Kshatriyas are the Armed Forces who daily perform their duties of protecting the nation and are battle ready. A kapu in Telugu land is a farmer irrespective of his tribe or clan, generally speaking if someone says he is a kapu then it means that the person is a Telaga or balija or ontari. A Reddy clan person is also a kapu if he is a farmer, the same goes for kammas also, so no confusion about kapu. Today kamma, kapu, velama or Reddy are all forward castes and better than so called brahmins. We should remember that varnas do not apply out side hinduism, so friend no need to take upanayana seriously, I suggest strongly that we should accept Swamy Vivekananda as our guru and adopt atleast five moral principles and lead a constructive life and propagate humanity and Jio aur Jeenedo should be our motto for life. You have mentioned that those who worked as Rathi became Reddy, could you please explain its meaning.

    • @nagsammadivada6728
      @nagsammadivada6728 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      PONNA RAJASHEKHAR
friend, today i will tell u few important things which only historians know, but not the modern community.
The biggest misnomer of the Telugu history. How Kapu became Farmer. Because Farmer is known as Krishak in sanskrit, Halika in prakrit and Ryotu in Telugu. If Kapu was really Farmer, its name must have originated from the above mentioned words.
Kapu, originated from Telugu word Kaapadu (protection). some historians say that it originated from Ayodhya, Mithila and Kampilya, so got its name Kapu.
After arrival of Islamic rule, mainly the Hyderabad Nizams and British, all the 4 castes settled as Landlords or farmers. As most of them were involved in Farming and as i said, all were considered sub divisions of same tribe, the Kapu became synonyms for Farmer and farm labourers started calling all land owners as Kapu. And this is how, every Farmer became Kapu as u mentioned above.
Second, how Rathi became Reddy. I mentioned u above about presence of tribes in Satavahana period.
Then the warriors were known as Maharathis and Mahabhojas. So, the ancient tribe people (Kamma Kapu Reddy Velama origin) started joining the Army and worked at ranks of Rathi and Maharathi. Those from this tribe started working as Rathi started grouping themselves.
The historians notices the changes of Rathi in inscriptions.
      Rathi - Ratha - Ratta - Ratti - Raddi - Reddi - Reddy.
(This is not created by me) You can check the book
Castes and Tribes of South India by Edgar Thruston
U can ask how i m sure that All Reddy are purely from that old tribe who worked as rathi.
For the same purpose, I started doing cultural and religious studies. The Gotra and Surnames helped me.
A peculiar feature ... the gotra of Kamma Kapu Reddy and Velama are same.
and it doesn't match with other South Indian tribes much.
One more thing. The Reddy kings of Kondavidu were mentioned as Panta Kapu by Srinatha in his book. Srinatha was court poet of Kondavidu reddy kings.
Source : History of Andhras upto 1565 by Durga Prasad.
All this fact just shows that all the above castes were single castes, which divided because of few factors and gained individual caste status and I respect it.
There are many more facts bro, which the present generation doesn't know.
I have written a research book.
ANDHRADESA THROUGH AGES Ruler's perspective & social status. How all these castes originated, initial rulers, Loss of Kshatriya status, Rulers history, Present status.
And i took sources & references from all the availabile history and genealogical approach.
If interested, u can go through.
