Hey beans - loved seeing annecy in the winter - we camp there every summer - you were right - it is riddled with humans but there’s enough space to still enjoy it and the water is lovely and warm to swim in. Sadly those camp sites you mentioned are always fully booked throughout the summer holiday period but there are camper-van pull ups in just about every village and town around the lake so you are never caught without. A place to stay - but not really wild camping I’m afraid

As mentioned...Emma is the one stealing the show here being articulate, informative and down to earth. She would be highly suited to a job in hospitality/public relations. Making these videos will likely be unsustainable (for long) and she needs a brand to back up her obvious talents. Having the back up of say an international set up with a longer term commitment, will see her flourish. Her key and valuable skills (ie: making people happy) in the middle and long term will then shine through.

Well done! You just have to choose countries that don’t discriminate and treat people fairly. We’re taking off in our van around Spain in mid April and are very pleased restrictions are being lifted around all the regions here and when we travel further into Europe we’ll choose countries accordingly and if we have to travel through countries that require jab passes for restaurants we just won’t go to their restaurants. Create your own reality around the madness 💛💪🏼✨

Unvaccinated, had to do a pcr test b4 travelling but other than the issues at the tunnel and airport with the plc form, which was probably my fault anyway, we had no issues. It's just done summer here, it's officially autumn. If you'd been travelling here, you'd be baked beans. Australia has five recorded temperatures over 50, three this year in Western Australia.
Perth had six consecutive days over 40.
Perth hardly knows what rain in summer is, but up north one cattle station had 700+ in 24 hours. Obviously caused no grief, the owner said he'd like some more. In the Eastern States, 600+ can be problematic. There are all house mountains and hills for it to run down and wash away houses.

@@JLangerz I agree! I think it’s important to remember that we who choose not to take the jab are a minority and therefore are attacked and judged a lot because of all the fear mongering and blaming of the unjabbed in the mainstream media. We often keep quiet about our jab status because we know we’ll be judged and it’s really hard to be honest. We’re called antivaxx for the wrong reasons and sometimes treated like dirty and dangerous.
For example when we’ve been flying and stand in the boarding cue and instead of just discretely looking at our documents they ask loudly “are you not vaccinated?” Or “where’s your covid pass”. It’s pretty humiliating.

You guys are a better double act than Morecambe & Wise (er...I guess you have to be old enough to know what I'm talking about...I'm sure they're on TH-cam). Anyway, I've been following you religiously (even though I'm not religious!) for quite some time now, & it's such a joy to live life vicariously with you two rascals. Your schtick (I just has to check the spelling of that word) has me openly laughing. That's rare...That's the best compliment I can pay you guys. Keep it up chaps!

France has been one of the strictest countries during the pandemic, but they are starting to ease the rules from the middle of March, so things will be better if/when you come back in the summer. Another great video, I will add Annecy to the list of places we still need to visit in France (and we live here).

Annecy is an awesome destination and we have visted there a few times now. One trick we have learnt in France to beat the crowds in the busier months is to get out nice and early in the morning. People seem to get going from about 10am onwards so you can get some time in before that without the masses, plus there is nice light for filming and photography.
As always we enjoy your videos.
