I seen you about 10 times with the church one time on your own and I have to say Your Voice Sounds stronger in such an intimate setting you look good and I would really like to see you tour the US again but just sounds so amazing in the vocals stay healthy and keep putting up the videos the fans love you Marty!
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT AND BEAUTIFUL!!!! ...'Grind' is in my top #5 Church songs of all time !!!! ....I know that album gets no credit for being a fan masterpiece, I think its because of the lack of wet reverb and the obvious cold, and sterile electronic drums and some vocal deliveries...........But Marty and the guys do spectacular work on so many treasures...like the iconic 'Metropolis' and Terra Nova Cain .....and of course, the MWP polished 'Russian Autumn Heart' .....this performance here on TH-cam , with the amazingly talented and enchanted smiling sidekick ,.... "a definition of perfect *stunning soul mate* !!!!! ....take care you two!!! ...have a great rest of your spring and the toasty summer ahead!...." bump + grind it out!"....
I saw the church in 2011. I believe it was the last time Marty toured with them. They did three encores and closed with this song. It was an amazing show.
MWP and Peter Koppes were The Church for me, I met them both in 1983 here in Chicago during their first tour thru and I have seen The Church 23 times, in 5 different states in the US alone (besides solo runs as well) ...I am a lifelong guitarist/musician and the hypnotic interplay between PK + MWP will never get recognized in the 'guitar world' for being some of the most brilliant and definitive note choices and compositions to ever be recorded!!! .......The spectacular guitar mastery on the LOUD iconic album - *Forget Yourself* has to be heard repetitively to melt the patrons deeply and deeper within the sonic changing landscapes thru out - those two great men created a trophy of perfect songs!!!! ...so - yeah , Kilbey is Kilbey ...he has kept The Church afloat against many impossible odds - more times to count( and many collapses are of his own doing!!) ...buy dear Marty will always remain up on high , own my guitar Mt Rushmore of muses!....love ya MWP !!!!!

I know Steve pretty much makes The Church who they are, but Marty was so important too. I sure miss he and Steve together.
