To offer my 2 cents, I just received my copy of the Second Edition Eclipse Phase Core Rules, and I was on the hunt for the 5th Edition of Shadowrun, and could not find it, but I have had a chance to read through this EP Second Ed. book a bit and I have been thoroughly enjoying the separations from the parts that aren't Shadowrun, but I have a DEEP appreciation that the Morphs still enable you to be a Covert-Ops Specialist or something resembling a number of other things that in Earlier versions of Shadowrun were considered Archetypes or "Classes" of characters. I appreciate that there are rules for reputation and that there is a more scientific and futuristic Space, inhabiting anywhere OTHER than Earth proper that you'd like to put your game setting. Mr. Boyle, I am in awe of this book so far. I am a fan! Thank you!
I've been interested in what Rob Boyle was up to ever since Shadowrun 4e (and 4eA).. and the way Catalyst Game Labs mismanaged the book launch of eclipse phase and another company due to financial irregularities.
