As someone who grew up in the 2000s with the best prehistoric life docs of the time like Walking with dinosaurs, prehistoric park, and walking with beasts, and as someone who is now putting in the work to become a paleontologist, this makes me so happy. The story of life on earth is over three billion years in the making and is such a fascinating story. I cannot wait for this!

It's unfortunate that the trailer itself asks a question that only humans will ever think about or ask. "Who will rule the world". Not a single species has this on their agenda. Life is all about balance. Human kind is all about tipping that balance in our favor to, rule the world.

I just finished episode 5 (of 8) and this show is actually disappointing. I thought this show was going to focus on the prehistoric life from beginning of time to modern day. Instead, it focusing more on current day life than prehistoric. Episode 5 was suppose to be about dinosaurs but instead, the episode is 70% about modern day insects and 30% about dinosaurs. And that’s how every episode has been so far. Honestly, if you have access to Prehistoric Planet, go watch that instead.
