A lot of people seem to not be backing because Chapters hasn't delivered. I never got this. I was always going to back Kingdoms Forlorn, for instance. This one doesn't do for me because I'm not a furry, not does the combat orientated nature of the game scream out at me.
Werewolf and dungeon crawls? where do I have to sign? Anyway I agree on the fact that they should deliver the first game before start the new campaign... also there is the feeling that if you want a good deal you need to go all in...
Yea I feel like, by the time I am paying shipping, that with a core you are really there buying it for any exclusives and not a discount. The price is right for me luckily, so that is what I will do. Its funny because I really want an All-In for Vampires. They just lost me with the lack of content in the expansions.
You can say the same statement about an eurogamer a worker-placement or deck building game... but maybe is a god tactics to skip basically all boardgame on crowdfunding
Really you are both right. I am a nut and a long campaign is usually what I am looking for, but I know there are tons of people who dislike that kind of commitment, and here there doesn't really seem to be another great option. Backing games on crowdfunding is always risky. They often change in development and what you see isn't always what you get.
Hey there @Critical , I already wrote you on KS, that your video made me do a 2nd guess, whether I really need the middle tier, or drop to the basic one, so thanks for that, I guess xD. I will probably stick around, and in case we can get the expansions without the minis for a cheaper price, I will probably stay, otherwise, I might just pick it up at some point in my FLGS (preferably at a discount :D )
Yea there is a chance it would be cheaper at retail. For me I will be keeping an eye on what else is offered up, and what exclusives are unlocked. I really want the option for enemy minis, but I don't know if that is in the cards or not. I honestly don't know if they like me pointing out the value of Aftermath too much, but $120 or $90 is hard to swing for such little content. Especially if the other tribes are present in the core.
Backing it. I tried the TTS, the narration awesome and combat is great, interesting yet not too fiddly or overly complex, quite a solid gameplay. The small scenario books makes flipping to the right page easy. I’m should be adding on the terrain minis too because the terrain token is really hard to see on the board, I think it may hinder the experience.
That is great to hear! We are going to be getting copies of TTS for all of our video gaming group over Christmas. Looking forward to jumping into a few different demos for campaigns.
@@cyder534 I believe the cross over pack, is something exclusive for those who backed Chapters. Then again, it might only be that those people get it ADDED for free, and the rest can purchase it as a seperate Add-on, similar to what they are doing to the Miniature which you got for free in the first 24 hours (which strangely seems to be completely gone now xD)
Looks pretty cool, really intrigued by the system and world building, just like with Vampires. Just a bit too expensive after shipping and VAT, especially for a game with mostly cardboard standees, again, just like with Vampires. Gotta skip, I think.
I regret not hopping on the Chapters train now, but this only will get me at the core box and maybe 1 or two addons. I am hoping they have more in store for the rest of the campaign.
I'm going to pass on this one. I would love a monster game like this but want vampires and mummies and other creatures in it as well. Plus I just backed Oathsworn and Cthulhu 2 so I'm good for this month.
@@criticalfail I have! I wanted to get the Samurai one or forbidden fortress one but then you have to put the minis together and it’s way too much content you have to track down.
I was able to grab a left over sumo pledge during their yearly convention. I would say if you want to try it get a core set like forbidden fortress and consider a town set like the feudal village. Then you can just get the content you want as you go. There is more to get and do there than I will ever have time for, but the core sets alone are great!
Yea I felt the same way about the wolves. I love the concept with the druidic or shaman looking wolves. They could have pushed harder on variety for sure.
What are your thoughts on the project?
Are you backing?

no.
I backed, main Werewolf the Apocalypse fan here.
Currently backing the Lupus pledge.
@@Razamaniac I enjoyed sanctuary and buffy, but that's as far as my interests go.
Also they are giving a free expansion for backers of vampire chapters. It’s not shown on the page though.
Many Thanks for the video. Looking forward to Vampire Chapters. Currently backing the Lupus pledge on this one.
Me too. I am still waiting to hear if I can get a leftover Kickstarter Pledge for Chapters. Crossing everything I have!
The game is out of my bandwidth--just ordered a 1st edition Oathsworn off of the waiting list--but l don't mind having the look in the window!
I totally get that. I am getting scared just looking at the massive books for Elden Ring right now!
The expansions give you playable characters that you can use for the whole game. It’s more then just 1 senario.
That’s cool. Wonder if they will provide access for that in the pledge manager to everyone.

When it comes to dungeon crawls it would have to be the best just because of the time commitment. Passing

@@patriziopastore9895 well that’s a bit extreme he ask for opinions and that is mine.

I asked in the comments and got confirmed if you back 1$ you get to buy everything for the same price in the pm. So this is an option too!
Does this include the cross over pack?

That is always assuring to have that knowledge up front. Hopefully the early backer exclusive will be available for purchase as well.

Yep, just the core box is quite expensive there is a kind of "move" to push the backer to all in to have the good deal.

Haha that would be great. Check out Shadows of Brimstone if you are looking for a wonderful combinations of tropes. I love the variety they provide.

What kept me out of that : too many more or less same looking wolves minis but none for NPC ? Standees? Seriously? Each add-on - more wolves again.

Maybe they will be a stretch goal?
