The day after Labor Day, we took him to the ER and there were several tests done and we got horrible news. 😢 The stress has been unimaginable along with a diagnosis of him having maybe 6 months to live. Anyone who prays for others, would you remember my dad and my family? We knew he was sick with several illnesses but finding out he has cancer on top of everything else was devastating. I’m struggling with all of this and will try to get back to commenting regularly again when I can.

I have with success substituted the flour with other recipes that uses almond and coconut flour so hoping it will work here too. These look delish 😋
You could substitute pork rinds for the coconut flour and use just a tiny bit less butter. I try to make everything so it uses round measurements, but that will work fine
So im confused because in step one you put the egg yolks in your stand mixer bowl and added 1/2 cup egg whites then later you said add the egg yolks to the cream cheese and vanilla-are these the ones from the stand mixer with the egg whites or are these two different yolks?
I put the whites in the stand mixer. I put the yolks in the brown container. Don't use the same bowl, because if egg whites have any yolk in them, they won't whip up

Oh, I didn't know we were checking the temperature on bread now. I still don't check the meat temps lol Recently, my Dad started checking his meat temps and told me to check the temp on the sausage and boudin and take it off the pit if it reached blah, blah, blah... I brought it in and he said," I didn't see you check the temp." I said that they're all already cooked you're supposed to just heat and eat. Besides, I don't think after 50 years of eating sausage from the pit, I'm gonna to keel over from it now 😂 We make our own and I know we do check the temp the first time we smoke and cook it. He's just gettin too fancy for his 74 years 😂😂

It's fine to do that, and I do myself, but just to make it easier for people someone gave me the tip about 200° and that seems to work just fine 😁

How can i use my dried egg whites? Ive never used it. It says 1 egg= 1tbsp powder 3 tbsp water
I would do four tablespoons of powder to in between a half and 3/4 of a cup of water.

What internal temp would I be looking for to make sure they are done? I know bread is usually 210 and cakes 190 just not sure what these would be?
