    I realized how unfit I am, three minutes in and I’m out of breath. Besides being a handspeed workout this is great cardio too.
    update : i’ve stuck with this boxing thing (I think i’m getting better at it lol), I run a 5K three times a week now. It’s way easier to hold up with this handspeed workout now. Glad I decided to keep going!

      2 years ago at age 16 I can run 30 min easily , now almost 1 year I 'm not play any sport even in 1 day , sad to realize I cannot run in only 3 minute now

      First time i did this a year ago i was a fat 190lbs ,and got out
      Of breath in 3mins ,i came back today after a year of mma/boxing training and wiegh 145lbs and i did this so effortlessly that i forgot how unfit i was

      JT Van V awesome to see you are posting even more videos per week! As usual, super useful. If you are looking for new material to discuss, I'd love to hear from you about how to pick a boxing style, pros and cons of the different styles etc. I just have no idea which one I should focus on. Now maybe an early intermediate, and maybe a tick shorter for my weight (179/81kg), I started with peek a boo which worked pretty well. Then I started to put my left hand more forward which seems to sometimes work well and other times not. More recently I am toying with the philly shell which feels awesome at times but in reality I have no idea what I am doing. Any tips on how to pick my style and develop it would be awesome!

    I LOVE this workout!! I do this on my off days and it trains my mind with muscle memory. It's great for speed and you learn both terms and numbers in regards to punches if you are beginners. Great vid!

    Coach Jay Van, would you please create more shadow boxing videos like this. I’m been utilizing this video as a warmup and throughout my training. It’s very effective.     Hey guys im a complete beginner. I want to join a gym in my city but I dont have the money right now.
    Should I practice doing this in the meantime or will I be wasting my time since no one can tell me if im doing it correctly

      Don't worry about doing things "correctly", just start practicing. The habit of training is the hardest part. Its easy to make adjustments to positions. Anything that is wrong can easily and quickly be adjusted.

    I do in fact do this workout after another, and my hands are really flying. I do notice that 4 isn't used much (is it even done once in the whole thing?), 2 seemingly used as much as 3, 5, and 6 put together. I'm not going to watch through the video without exercising just to count the punches of different types, though.

    Sir, my weight is 60 kg and the height 5'7. I literally want to learn boxing but is this weight appropriate to learn boxing? Besides I did never have a trainer and can't even get a trainer. can this videos and the app 'precision boxing' help me to learn boxing?
