I think you are right. I myself, after getting many bags have a love hate relationship with Hermès. The most frustrating for me is that it’s never a straightforward process, you are constantly in limbo. But it is what it is, and at the end of the day, we decide if we want to partake or not. I myself, got pretty much off the train and prefer to go directly for the bags I really want. Now if I shop in the store, it’s not with the intention of getting an offer, it’s more because I still love some items and I will probably be a long time customer but I definitely won’t be a big baller.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes never straight forward process. It frustrates everyone. I’m in the same train as you, long time customer and definitely not a big baller like the rest. 😊
My SA in Seattle is very lovely and nice. I got my 1st rare birkin less than a yr, and the spending ratio is 1:1. I also got invited to several special events that artists customized my items. I personally love their silk scarves a lot.
Agree with everything you mentioned. There is no formula to getting your B/K so you're in for the long haul. I might also want to add that for many, there's the hate until you're in then you forget all about it.
We don’t hate Hermès, but we do hate people who brag about obtaining Hermès. I do have birkin and kelly, but hardly carry them anymore. It was a thing that I fond when I was younger, but not anymore. I still keep them, but not in love with them as I used to.
Thank you for sharing your experience and perspective, I think there’s definitely seasons for everything so I can understand why you no longer carry them as you used to.
I think people hate that you can’t order everything online from the comfort of your own home. I personally don’t hate Hermes but I’ve had this one point made to me several times about the lack of bags online.
What I don’t like about Hermes (hate is a strong word), is that the customer service experience is horrible. The SAs are rude and mean. And I can’t deal with that considering I can get wonderful service at Chanel, LV, Dior. I don’t want to reward a brand with my money if they can’t treat me right. Secondly, the whole exclusively / scarcity thing is a scam. It’s actually pretty mainstream now. Don’t get sucked into the belief that it is scarce and exclusive. It’s a marketing tactic. Third, I don’t like the mean girl, “I’m better than you because I have Hermes and you dont” vibes of some of the hardcore Hermes fans on social media. It turns me off and makes me feel like, I don’t want to associate with that kind of tribe. It’s quite classless and tacky. As far as your question goes, would I buy LV pochette because it’s easier to buy? It’s not about that. And if people’s mindset is like that then it really means you are just buying a bag to flex. Buy a bag because you actually love it and you love the whole brand experience.
Thank you for sharing your experience, absolutely buy a bag you love! I love all my bags equally and the same. They all have a place in my collection and are so well used.
People hating Hermés shouldn't have been Hermés clients from the start, as they are not the brand's target. These people found out about these brands for elite online and now they won't leave these companies alone. They weren't supposed to know about it in the first place. But hey... globalization.
I love coach but people want can not have look at coach Emipre carryall everyone want that bag sold out Hermes know what doing and we and ones that have too have it
Yes. I agree. They tap into human psychology, the more you want something and it is harder to get, they know you will want it more and that they drive people crazy. Thanks for sharing.
To me, Hermés items are just so ugly and expensive. 😂 I like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Dior. They are way better, and they have beautiful products. They also have great quality products… and great customer service.
I went to Gucci today and the salesperson told me that they often can't tell the difference between an authentic and a *luxrul* bag. Surprised to hear that from the SA.
I totally agree with you about 50k needed for the Hermes game. Minimum. Thank you for being one of the few influencers who is telling the TRUTH!
Thank you Lucy, I am grateful we think the same way. 😃

Thank you Chris, yes this is so true specially in the digital age. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this. 😃
I love hermes bags because the whole bag is made of leather. It is difficult to find bags with leather lining.
Thank you and yes very good quality and handmade too. 😃
@@ziggyessyes quality is very good. Love it.
@kywong8053 yes indeed
