Man, the colors were awesome in this video!
AWESOME EXCITEMENT WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT. TIGHT LINES AND THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND.
You're welcome. Love walking the beach with a rod. Good luck to you as well 🤙
Just another Great fishing video. Tight lines!
Thanks man!
Well done!
Thanks man!
Tight lines 🎣
Thanks, you too!
Hey thanks for the shout out that 15.5” was a nice
Yea man! That fish made the whole trip for me. Been awhile since I caught a stuf whiting.
Fantastic video. Thanks 👏
Appreciate it!
I never thought about this technique, gonna have to give it a try.
Good luck! Let me know how you do.
Man, it looks nice out there!
Love it when the beach looks like that! I dont even care if I catch a fish its just so beautiful.
Nice job bro!
Thanks man!
Let’s goooo
Yea buddy! Tight lines 🤘
Lol! Dude, I was sitting here watching the vid, wondering how you Florida boys manage to wear long sleeves in 100 degree weather without getting sunstroke, and then you started over heating! I reckon living there you get acclimated to the heat, but maybe you should wear one of those lightweight pastel colored buttoned shirts we see all those south Florida TV fisherman wearing. Lol.
Side question: Other than using a pump, can ghost shrimp be caught (or shoveled) on the beach? It looks like this time of year is when ghost shrimp might be the ideal bait.
As usual, thanks for your great vids! I hope you keep growing your audience, and all the best to you and your family. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all your vids. You’re doing a great job! 🤙
Living in the south my whole life you do get used to the heat. I ran out of water was my problem on this day.
You can find ghost shrimp with a pump at out beaches and you're absolutely right about them being a hot bait right now. I need to get a pump so I can look for them.
Really appreciate you saying that! Wish the best to you as well.
Good fish and it IS beautiful out there!
Thanks. Love those days. Even if I don't catch a fish its so gorgeous I don't care.
Great video. I like how you show where your bait hit the water.
Thanks! Hope it helps.
Man I can't wait to get back down there. I had a blast fishing when I was there 2 weeks ago .
Its addictive thats for sure. Hope you can come back sooner than later.
Prolly November but we'll see I got 4 yrs and I'll be moving down there full time.@@JustinReedFishing
Great video. Thanks for showing exactly where you were putting your bait. I had you putting it twice as far out. Just on the inside of the sand bar. Not saying there weren't fish there but you proved there were fish closer in.
Indeed the whiting are all up close to shore some witin 5 yds of where water is breaking and some are real nice size
I'll reel it in all the way to shore to find where the fish are chilling. If its deep right at the shoreline fish will chill there as well. Just never know where they're at. Happy to show what I'm doing out there.
On a side note. Show us how you put sand spikes in when you're bait fishing from one spot.
Will do.
I’ve been fishing similiar way with a 4.5’ rod a size 4 or 6 circle hook with 8 lb leader and 1 oz weight on a Carolina rig I fish all the deep holes near shore and killing the lady fish
You using the Runt rod from Fishgum? It's a great way to fish and I always enjoy myself.
@@JustinReedFishing I actually have shopped and found my own plus had some older rods I repurposed. But his are very nice
Hey Justin, we are staying in Pensacola on the Santa Rosa Sound next year, wish you would make a video of it. Last time I went all I caught was Catfish. Going in June, any tips would be really great.
Do you mean make a video fishing on the Sound Side? I can definitely try and do that. Otherwise I have some surf fishing videos from June on my channel.
@@JustinReedFishing yes, we will be staying at a house with a pier on Panferio Drive in Pensacola, There aren't too many Santa Rosa sound videos out there, most of the ones people are using Kayaks. Didn't know if you were too familiar with fishing the sound, or if you fish from the bank there, but there aren't that many good videos out there for it.
@@krisdesha8129 I've done it a few times. I've been meaning to fish the grass flats on the sound for reds and trout. I'll give it a go and see if I can get on some fish and put a video together.
Wonder what using a float hook would do for getting off the bottom and maybe in Pomp zone?
Only one way to find out!
What make of rod are you using
Shimano GLF Medium 7'
What could you expect to catch had you threw that Lady fish out there live?
Redfish, Bluefish, or a Shark.
