- Decided to get out for a spring catch and cook today. After getting some good bluegill, I stumbled upon a hidden cave in the woods! Got myself some birch bark and made a simple fire. Fun little exploration and bushcraft trip!
Get out there and test your skills folks, it’s just plain good for the soul!
Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed this video!

Great video!
I love watching catch and cook vids, and this didn't disappoint!.
Just subbed, and looking forward to watching more from your channel.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you!
Glad I stumbled across your video! Love the Rat 1!! Subbed!
Glad to have you!
The silent film vibes were pretty cool 💯👌🏼
Thanks buddy
Did I miss, he didn't gut the fish, did he?
Nope, cooked em whole! Ive done this a few times on my channel. Old school way of cooking
I didn’t think he gutted them either
been watching your vids for a while and finally upgraded my empty corona bottle handline to a KA-BAR brand one that has the same shape as yours but made of plastic. do you have any recommendations for fishing bluegill in a pond thats around 3 feet deep at shore and 5 feet deep in the middle? i'm from massachusetts and the last time i tried was in may 2023. keep up the great content cause i like ultraportable things.
In water that shallow, red worms under a float would be best in my opinion. Thanks for watching
I tried bluegill years ago. But i made fillets. Your way is better. More meat saved. But even with salt and pepper bluegills had no taste too me. Even bass. Maybe it was a question of they had too be bigger. Do you find bluegills too have any decent taste at all?
Bluegill is pretty mild, but I find it good! Obviously over a fire like I did, theyre fairly bland. But breaded and fried theyre great!
