i beg to differ with tha both of ya...it was 2007. Coach Saban’s 1st season and the Crimson Tide went 6-6 in the regular season...i think.?. I’ll never forget the beautiful sound of disgust and disdain from all the TN big 🍊 Volunteer fans i worked with...All the while, remembering the trash talk for most of the previous decade. 2007 my friends. I moved to Alabama in 05 and wasn’t a big college football fan before but I learned quickly that football is just different here, and if you don’t have a team then you have to pick Bama or Auburn. Despite the slump Bama was in and the 6 game losing streak to AU I chose Bama. I guess I made the right choice. This 2009 season was special. One of the physicaly and mentally toughest teams I’ve ever seen. So much nfl talent there. All 5 championships have been awesome but this one was special

Angel Padilla yes I can’t wait for the season. I think we will get back to our dominant defense with the return of Moses. I like Mac Jones but I won’t be surprised if Bryce Young doesn’t steal the job. He’s got Tuas arm with Hurts legs. With Najee, Smith and Waddle returning I think our offense will be fine. That defense was so damned good. Tackling Ingram looked like it could not have been very fun. His yards after contact were freaking ridiculous that year.

This was a very special season and team. You could feel it before the season started, it was our time.

Being born in 1987, this has to be my favorite national championship. Really my first one, and a perfect season.
This was a fantastic season, starting the dynasty under Saban.
'92 was a national championship and a prefect season there as well under Gene Stallings.
