@@bamarolltide2712 I'm a huge Bama fan but you can't call this one the most dominant in college history when we lost a game that year. Not to mention we were very close with Mississippi State late. And then the "tin horn" game with where FCS GA Southern racked up 304 yds rushing. Bama only led an FCS team by 10 late in the 3rd quarter. 2020 is the most dominant Bama team of the Saban era. 2nd best team is 2009. After that it's debatable between 2011 and 2012
Yep. i hated to see him go down early in that game...like Waddle!! And WHY!?! Oh, WHY!?! in the fuck do they have Devonta Smith RETURNING KICKS!!!? Yes, he’s a tough player. Yes, he can do it but why on Earth put BAMA’s BEST WR into oncoming traffic like that? i absolutely cringe when i see him out there doing something so unnecessary that his backups backup can be doing.
Most points given up were 21…. To Ga Southern lol. If only they had cared more about that game. IMO ‘92 defense was better, 2011 was the meanest defense of all time tho. The best modern defense was Bama’s ‘17 defense tho most prefer the ‘16 defense. Most points the ‘17 defense gave up was 26, the team only gave up 3 TDs once to Miss St. played either 3 or 4 top4 teams in #3 Florida st (7 point given up) #1 clemson (2 fgs given up) UGA (2 TDS/ 3 FGs given up) and can’t remember the other team if there was one. I do believe LsU was a top10 team as well and they scored maybe 10 points.
This is my favorite style of football. A strong run game and a stellar defense. The scoreboard doesn't show how dominated these teams are, they're mostly relatively low scoring games. To see how outmatched most of them were, you have to watch a replay. I'll tell you what, I would never want to play against a Bama defense like that, I'd get broken in two.
Richardson was so damn good, too bad the NFL is such a whimpy little sport where only the pass plays really matter. This is why I love college football!
Maybe. 2015-2021 was pretty nasty. 4 straight Nc games, 5 outta 6 Nc game appearances and 3 Heisman trophies. Won 3 of 6 tho should’ve won 5 of 6. 2 obvious pick plays for TDs by Clemson should’ve been called back and we were obviously the better team in ‘21 (as shown by the SECCG that year) but losing both starting WRs, both starting CBs and 2nd/3rd string RBs rlly hurt us despite playing UGa close despite being seriously injured after beating the crap outta them when healthy. Rtr
Do your research next time. There were no other undefeated teams besides LSU going into the championship. Oklahoma St lost to an unranked Iowa St. Putting Alabama in was a no-brainer.
One of the most dominant teams to ever play college ball
Roll tide
The most dominating team in college football history period

You’re forgetting the 2015 team.
Greatest defense ever.
Gotta go with ‘92 Bama defense. 2011 was def the meanest defense ever.
maze was soooo good. I miss him
Pro Shotz yeah, I was heartbroken when he got hurt in the title game
Him Darius and Kevin were an amazing group
Lt. Longshot mann what?! I say this all the time. That guy was truly underrated.
@@Kay-RT2020 What ? I say this to myself all the time. Truly underrated.

Nice Edit!! 👍 Trent Richardson was, in my opinion, the best college football running back... EVER! Roll Tide
Bad news, everybody in College Football and NASCAR Lost William “Rowdy” Harrell alongside his newly wedded wife.
Henry was definitely better
7:20 Trent breaks his ankles like a point guard 😂🤣
Richardson was an absolute beast. It's a shame that didn't transfer to the NFL.
Best defense I’ve ever seen. Only allowed 3 rush tds all year. I think only 12 total tds
100%
I believe it was nine total TDs

Saban retired today as the greatest to ever do it.

Great defense and run game is the best football. I love it
Looking back shutting out the number one team in the nation was insane

This is the year they played pro-style in their offensive scheme. Bama's 2011 team was powerful.
The days Alabama was at peak

Don’t fck with The Tide
Alabama. Football. Every. Years
My cousin Wes was on that team
Who was the kicker
They had two. Short distance was Jeremy Shelley and long distance was Cade Foster.
Cade Foster was awful
John Taylor Railey not as bad as bullubus
Bopwitit Brother papponastos 36 yarder 🤢🤮
John Taylor Railey we need to find us a good kicker
Where's highlights from the Vanderbilt game???
What season? We have been beating them like a red headed stepchild for years.
@@M0nkiDRufi um 2011?
Upshaw ruined Floridas life that game 🥹☠️
Had to stop watching at 16:24 cuz uhhh, my food was done in the oven.
Yall dident even deserve to be in the natinal championship there was another undefeted team
