I bought a brand new 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby, just like this one. Drive out price from the dealership was $13,779. These cars came from the factory with stainless steel exhaust, rocker roller cam. an air horn, 5 spd. manual Getrag transmission, 16" low profile unidirectional tires. I can't tell you what I did yesterday but, for whatever reason, I remember these specs. LOL!

Had the 1988 version. Loved that car for 100K miles.

Same with my dad he owned a 1991 Grand Prix GTP coupe and sold it when I was born to get a boring sedan

My dad had a blue one with a T-top and I loved riding in that car as a kid

Thanks for the video, brought back so many good memories for me. I had the exact same model/year, fully loaded in black. I also had the T-Tops and the metallic sunshade on the back window. Kept the car for four years. Bought it when I was a soldier in Germany; had it custom built from the PX there. My total cost back then was about 18,000. It was a great starter car for Young, G.I.. I still have the original brochure from 89. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

A very rare find indeed. Incredible condition. I had the same exact car but mine was white and grey ground effects. Paid $3,950 for it in 1995 w/closer to 80k miles. Incidentally I took it back a little over a week later and traded it in for a 1987 Z28 with LB9 and factory T5. I wish I had them both today. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! This brings back memories for me. I had a red 1987 Pacifica. It had the digital dash, otherwise this car is the twin to mine. Thank you so much for sharing this video, I wish I had the money to buy this car just for old time sake!

My first car was a red 87 Pacifica with digital dash, probably just like yours. It had leather grey interior and everything electric. I was in love with it.

I had one just like this but with T-tops and cruse control, fog lights, and factory CD player and cassette. Bought used with 42K miles in 1996 and then totaled it in an accident in the winter. Very sad!! Oh yeah, it had leather seats too.

That is a brand new car...or was still when this video came out. I had a 84 Laser XE Turbo that I custom ordered and I really wish I still had it. Garnet red and silver, sunroof, black full leather interior, digital dash, upgraded sound system with the booster under the drivers seat, every bell and whistle option available. Wonder what this one sold for.

What a great car! I'd be concerned about normal age on man made parts like the timing belt.. I'd get some new rubber in there if that isn't a chain. I know the 2.2 is non interference but that would be lousy if that broke. Wait. You're a dealer selling that car. Screw that. You should keep that find!

    • @Catlover1974

I would be concerned about dry rot in the tires as well, otherwise awesome car!

Has it been sold yet? Where it’s this car located? Also, can someone help me find a vehicle? I’m searching and having difficulty finding something nice.

It was in Fraser, Michigan. It's on their website as sold inventory. A friend had one in High School and it was a blast. Can't believe how clean this car is. He might put you in contact with the new owner. Better bring your wallet.

Barney Fife bought this car from a little old lady from Mt. Pilot, whose husband only drove it to church on Sunday, and never over 20 miles an hour - this car has never left 1st gear ⚙️. (Just a little southern humor! 😂).

This looks a lot like the car that I stole parts off of at 3:00 in the morning at West loop Dodge back in 1993-1994. Got all kinds of cool parts
