The face you made saying "enemies to lovers" was relatable. 😅 I'm also not a romance reader but have been thinking about trying Emily Henry - very curious to hear your thoughts. 2024 hasn't been the best reading year for me - the last two books I read were The Poppy War and The Rachel Incident and both of them were 2 stars for me. I've learned that I cannot trust Goodreads ratings, lol. Currently reading The Three Body Problem and thankfully enjoying it so far. Lovely video as always 🥰

I gave Happy Place a try after and thought it was decent but not as good as Book Lovers! I love your TBR vids, I always discover new reads

Emily Henry was my gateway into romance! I particularly like Beach Read and Happy Place! Book Lovers was too on the nose to be a fave for me, but still very enjoyable. Also, I appreciate your channel for many reasons but one is some bizarre crossover! I lived in Buenos Aires for a while and then in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. I love that you’re picking the study back up 🫶

I can’t wait to hear what you think! Also I just finished Hurricane Season based on your recommendation and WOW perhaps the best book I’ve ever read

Wondering if you have any favourite asmr (or regular) channels with book related videos? I think you’ve got really interesting and varied taste, and a lot of the videos I’m finding when I search are pretty strictly focused on fantasy or romance. Love both but nice to get wider recommendations!
It's a good question but I don't really! I watch Quiet Ky and Hayley Jean but more to relax and hear their thoughts, which I love, than to get recommendations (although occasionally I do). I find new books more so through staff recs at local bookstores, friends, and interviews with writers and artists I like, the more casual the better. I hope that helps! 💜

ive read beach read, book lovers & people we meet on vacation by EmHen and i honestly don’t really like her style of writing but she really knows how to write good banter
