Tonight let's relax to the sounds of antiques books, thunderstorm and gentle rain. This is a simple, yet very cozy ambience video, that includes page turning (at various paces), unintelligible whispers / reading (French & English), crinkles, writing, page flipping, rain sounds & distant thunderstorm. Great as a background for studying, and I hope you'll like it. Have a wonderful evening 😊
Anecdote : many of these books belonged to my great grandmother and are more than 110 years old.

It's so interesting how ASMR works, some sounds I love but don't necessarily give me tingles, but the second you started whispering I had tingles all over my scalp.

24:24 gave me so many tingles and reminded me so much of one of my very first ASMR experiences in 3rd grade at the school library where we would have silent reading, and the girl I sat next to would whisper while reading and it gave me insane tingles

I love the smell of old books,coffee,fireplaces and antique library's and this video really captures that esence of my favorite smells I swear I would walk on glass while bare foot just to be in a place like that❣️.

It's comforting to see that I'm not the only person who treasures old books, especially those printed prior to 1900. I actually read them as well as collect them and,
in contrast, have no interest in reading contemporary literature. I also keep a chapel, or prayer room, in my home where I pray and meditate. I love these connections
with the past. I'd appreciate if one of the ASMR video creators would record one from a chapel/prayer room. It could be so amazing.

I see the idea of the contrast between the storm outside and the warm delicate atmosphere inside. I am only now trying to see the contrast could be enhanced ?? personal, delicacy, Oh love the candles. Love the clothes which may also be connected with a more stable time with more isolation from today's world. Hope the contrast idea can be explored more so.
