This video highlights the enduring legacy of terrorism in Uganda, told by one of the victims in her own words. It is part of a collection of victims’ testimonies entitled the Online Community Stories Exhibition “Stories of Terror”, which seeks to heighten community awareness of the risks of engaging in violent extremist activities, inspire action to advance the rights of the victims of terrorism and harness the transformative power of storytelling to shift minds.
It is the result of a collaborative effort between the Uganda Muslim Youth Development Forum (UMYDF) and Kofi Annan Foundation (KAF) under the Bridges to Peace project funded by the European Union.
