Through AGT and BGT I've heard this song several times, but there's something about a group singing this that has so much more of an impact and is more inspiring than a solo. Well done girls

That teacher sacrificed a lot to make dreams come true for these lovely girls. And they repay him with the most incredible performance I’ve ever seen. Well done ladies. You honored your teacher with this performance and I couldn’t be more proud of a group of girls even if you were my own.♥️
This gave me the chills. I wasn't sure what to expect, but when she opened her mouth my chin dropped. And they are all in harmony Beautiful performance!!!
And they threw in just a touch of choreography, as well, for an added touch. Understated & added a touch that came across loud & clear that said they were completely comfortable on stage.

Mr. Cowell and the judges once again inspiring love and compassion. The young ladies where amazing.
The lovely teacher couldn't even make it to the stage, I love how Simon greeted him and encouraged him of how awesome he is. And it was so sweet to see him fight back the tears when the girls sang and when the judges commented on how amazing they were.
this was so different from the typical opera performance. It was great!

Still one of the BGT's greatest performances. Watched it many times and it always moves me.
Blown away by the performance of these girls. The lead's voice and her control stunned me the moment she first started singing. The exceptional balance of the girls as a choir rates a 1A which is the highest rating from some 50+ yrs ago. ( 5 STARS )

That was world class, the leader was not expected to be world class because this was a choir effort and I challenge any choir anywhere in the world to do better than what we all listened to on this video. The girls were awesome and the leader took them to where they needed to be, brilliant I loved it.
Oh Come on! Do a quick search on youtube for choirs and you will listen world class choirs.
The girls were ok. Maybe if they choose a non operatic song (this kind of music requires a full time work as a singer) it fits nicer on their light voices.
LIke many, you seem to have failed to take in to account that these are children aged 12-17 years old.
Probably the choirs your refer to have singers age 16, more likely 21+

Ya know, that was a wonderful rendition, but, what struck me from the start of the song was, The Lead did not have to take all the camera time before she took center stage. She was always in the backdrop, and who couldn't notice she was shining there. I noticed. Then she took center Stage Lead and lit the place ablaze with a most wondrous sound of Angels singing with her group. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

True but in opera there is often a lead and backup chorus. And in this specific piece it was perfect.
With them it felt complete and sounded like I was hearing Nessum Dorma at opera. It’s obvious that the act got 4 yes’s because of her and that she doesn’t actually need a vocal support. But with them in my opinion the act was very beautiful and we could hear voice her perfectly fine, which is the important thing here.

Beautiful and uplifting! Mr. Williams can be proud of the work he has done with these young women. It was so touching to witness the respect, honor and care these girls displayed for their instructor.
Each one of these girls look as if they have fine and caring parents as well, who take special care to love, guide and guard them. Bravo to them as well.
