Deleting Transmitters from a Sentry Code-Hopping Receiver’s memory

  • The objective of this tutorial video is to assist the end users that are using the Sentry Code-Hopping Receiver unit to erase remote transmitters from memory.
    NB: Due to the secure nature of the Code-Hopping communication protocol; if a remote transmitter needs to be erased from memory, then the Sentry Code-Hopping receiver unit’s memory should be cleared first and then only the active transmitters learned back into memory individually as previously shown. This is a security feature for the end user’s safety and consideration.
    1. Press and hold the “learn” button on the Sentry Code-Hopping receiver unit for 10 seconds. You should hear the buzzer beep 3 times.
    2. Memory is now cleared, you may learn in the active remote transmitters that you wish to integrate with the receiver.
