My Uncle received his kidney yesterday. Polycystic Kidney Disease runs rampant in my family. Fortunately I don't have PKD but my Uncle wouldn't take my kidney even if we were a match. He was adamant about it when I offered to get tested to see if I was a candidate. Six years later we were blessed by someone's sacrifice as an organ donor. I'm am overwhelmed with so many emotions but the biggest emotion is gratitude and love. Love to the organ donor and their family.

I have had many surgeries and watched the video's on them. I was very blessed and a very big THANK YOU!! to the people who are donor's or have donated.

Three brilliant and beautiful women. I’m on the transplant list (ESRF from PKD, currently on PD for two years) and I would be thrilled if any of these doctors would be my surgeon. Thank god for dedicated, intelligent people like them.
