Well Martin, after 2 years of research, I finally upgraded my camera. Couldn't afford the xf605, so got the Panasonic hcx2 instead. I am very pleased with the 4k 60p footage. New tripod and new microphone plus extra batteries and other goodies. These camcorders will always have better images than cell phones.

Looks a good camera Paul, I had a dvx 200 from Panasonic and the smooth zooming was fantastic. Like you don’t like the cell phone and Dslr videos on YT
