It sounds like his messages to the minor crossed the line to get him a perma ban on Twitch but not enough to get arrested. Even shows like Chris Hansens always showed the cops need photo/video evidence or meet ups (sometimes even across states) or more than messages to charge anything. It's why his statement said it was only messages and no photos/videos or meet ups. He's making it super clear the law could not charge him.

Just some legal stuff to consider: not all the cases on shows like to Catch a Predator get charged. Sometimes is it surprisingly hard to meet all the elements of a crime when the interaction is online and get the accused charged and prosecuted.
Given the stated facts, we can assume:
They did not meet up
There was some type of inappropriate communication via twitch whispers.
She was a minor.
And we have to all consider if Dr. Disrespect was aware of the minirs age. (He choose to come out and make a lengthy statement but failed to add "i didnt know she was a minor")
So yes this is obviously a crime of morality, but im not sure that it would make it thru the legal system, based on the known/admitted facts.
We have no idea the context of the convo. Like can you charge an adult with making an inappropriate joke with a minor? Can you charge an adult for making an inappropriate suggestive statement to a minor? These are all really hard things to prosecute, even tho morally we know if they were done with knowledge and intent they are wrong.
Just somethings to consider before jumping to judgement or conclusions.

The kid lied about their age to even use Twitch whispers. Plus it wasnt even sexual messaging. "innapropriate" CAN be bad, especially if he knew, but given the fact they had to keep quiet about it and then HE sued them and won, it doesnt look like it was a true accusation. Its just that they ARE accusations. That was the reason, which lost in court, that he was banned.

Doc didn't want the truth of why he was let go from twitch getting out and twitch didn't want to get sued for leaking Doc's info. Doc admitted to inappropriately messaging a minor and is on record as cheating on his wife with a fan. He has a track history of actually meeting his fans. So, could they have agreed on a settlement, partially pay out Doc's contract, Twitch isn't sued for info leak and banning of Doc, Doc doesn't go to prison for diddling teenagers. He's scared. Hope he has a good lawyer.

What still doesn't make much sense is why Twitch covered this up. If he did chat with a minor then why would twitch not just out him. This is just a theory but twitch probably caught him with their whisper chat and because of that Doc probably sued them for privacy invasion because that means that twitch can see all the chats in their whisper chat. Which is illegal and a violation to privacy.
But also, have to be 18 years and older to be on whispers so it’s not good look for twitch at all.

I disagree I think the skill tree with perks was nice it helped learn how to use all the affects of the perk and how it evolved rather than give you 20 abilities at once from a single perk.
As well as it gave something to grind out and at then end makes you feel as powerful as possible.
Just my opinion personally.
I do agree they should be a mix of challenges and in game ways to obtain such upgrades maybe allowing you to skip spending atherim points like how you can earn or unlock dlc weapons through challenges in multiplayer or zombies.
