  • I just heard about the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker and had to try it out! The ability to make home made low calorie ice cream that tastes WAY better than any store bought ones sounded too good to be true - so I put it to the test and WOW! This thing lives up to the hype!

To have a super flat surface on the top. Put it in the freezer without the lid. Use heavy cream without the gum, to get a nice, creamy smooth, mouth feel. Always re-spin at least 3x. The light icecream setting, seems to make it a lot smoother. So you need less re-spins. You can use the milkshake setting, to easily break up any large fruit or choc chunks

Woah. I usually just make “healthy ice cream” or rather just thick smoothies in the blender. I didn’t even know this was a thing. Looks awesome

Someone said it, guargum is the best choice. It prevents ice crystals and thickens ur ice cream. Also I believe the mixing is just mixing ur candy or treats but m & m size. I’m not sure if you thought it would break it down but it does not just mixes in.

I think you are supposed to make a hole in the middle & then throw your ingredients in for the mix in!

Xantham gum not more than 1/4 tsp man, itll wreck your stomach lol, use guar gum and 1/4th at most it works better

Good to know! It's all experimentation and a learning process.

Read the instructions! You dig a hole in the center for mix ins….

I use a magic bullet to make smoothies. Didn't think about making ice cream. Its about the same size but the thickness might be an issue. The recipe looks great though and easy enough to do. Looks better than the store stuff I get occasionally. Im going to try this.

Sounds great! I have a similar Nutribullet which I've been using for smoothies and to blend ice creams mixtures before I freeze them to use in the Ninja Creami. From what I've heard you won't get the same result with a blender, but I wonder what sort of delicious concoction you might be able to make with one! ^_^

@@TheCogIsShred my wife likes me making her a drink that uses apples, beets, dates, and strawberries mixed with oak milk. It's an anti inflammatory drink and very low calories.

Great video and recipe but please look how you are supposed to use mix-ins feature. You did it wrong.

Why are your nails so damn long?

2 reasons: I play guitar and use them for finger picking techniques, and I have ADHD and often forget to trim them. 😅
