I do not have a beard, and I have found this to be the best electric razor I have ever owned. I normally use King of shaves and water daily. If I focus well on my shave I can achieve a good quality shave in no more than 3 minutes! It is easy ... thanks Panasonic for a great razor!
That’s actually a great razor! I have a heavy course beard and it gets baby smooth. I suggest using a liner to get your hair down to a one day shadow look, apply afta pre-electric shave lotion - then use shaver. You’ll experience a very close shave. Or you can use it in the shower with shaving cream.
Clip hairs to one millimeter long. Hot water (opens pores, soften the beard) Cream/lotion + water (if needed) Then Shave with either a safety razor, an electric razor, etc. Rince and repeat if needed (cross grain if possible). Cold (icy) water (closes the pores, stops micro bleeding / abrasion) Dry the skin with a clean towel Apply aftershave / alcohol / fragrance, etc (now that the pores are closed)
Get in the shower. Switch water on. Rub shower gel on you. Use the clipper bit for long hair. Run the shaver over whatever it is you want to shave. Get out of shower. Put clothes on (if needed).
@@firehealer Right. But my comment was actually serious. A lot of guys cut themselves or end up with several red spots for days on the neck/face when they decide to shave a long beard without using a clipper first, then very close clipper, then hot water, then shaving cream and only then use an electric shaver or a safety razor (with grain on first pass, cross grain on the second). Then cold water to close the pores/capillaries, dry with towel and finally aftershave.
This was painful to watch. There is nothing wrong with the shaver. What you didn't do was prepare your face correctly for shaving. The advice above provided by Plutot Crever will ensure that you have an excellent shave, regardless of what device you use.
You should take your hair down way lower before using the razor. Its far too long, and the razor is gunked up with those long hairs, thats why its not doing as good of a job (@6:29)
@David Topchiev I'm in my mid 40s, and switched to electrics after I started shaving my head 10 years ago. You make few great points that I have to second. Be patient. Most people shave with electrics like maniacs on hairs that are too long. More blades, bells and whistles don't get you better shave. Just look for a quality cutter and motor.
A wet shave isn’t way better, obviously a wet shave is closer but not by much, the whole idea is to be able to shave without lathering up and for convenience, looking at the moustache area it’s just as close.
I ALSO agree, wet shave is best, dry shave is for emergencies, but it sucks in comparison.. i get a great shave with gel and my panasonic, phillips, and Braun. as long as its wet and i use a light gel, i get baby smooth but you have to know how to use them. the different stroke styles etc. practice and combining hot and cold water at the right time also helps.
Yes, I use it for my legs. Using a it in the shower with a shaving bar works best, but shower gel is fine. Best not to dry shave with it, even on your face.

The shaver was clogged up with long hairs boss, you should have rinsed it out then use it again.
This electric razor is awesome in both millions and billions of ways electric razors do not cut cause bleeding faces
ok.. but i've gone back to 5 blade razors
thanks for the comment! :D
Вообще-то для такой бороды уже стрижущую машинку применяют, электро для 3 дневной щетины, ты и станком не сразу такое уберешь...

The way you shave and direction of your passes are not on right directions

Dude guys shave their heads with this unit your not giving this shaver the credit it deserves.
Mate.. I have to go over the same patch 10 or more times just to shave! For the $400 it retails for I should have saved my money!
@@danielgfrost Give the Braun series 9 a try.
