Thanks for the review, I went all in on the kickstarter but it’s staying sealed for now. The Thing however is fantastic, the more the merrier, played with 6 and it was tense with plenty of cinematic moments. Highly recommend!
Shocked about the lack of depth. Kevin Wilson used to be a designer of great games with lots of choices. Descent, Doom, Arkham Horror (2nd Edition), Android, Fury of Dracula (2nd Edition), A Game of Thrones. Most of the best games made by Fantasy Flight were his designs (or new editions of classic games as in Arkham and Dracula). I have stopped backing Kickstarters. So many undercooked games. Now I buy P500 from GMT or Kickstarter Expansions for games I already have and enjoy. I have been burnt with under-developed games too many times on KS and GF.
Yeah thats definitely the raft token....the only place i saw that token is on the game map in win conditions where it talks about raft location in suburbs
I see the opening, and go 'Yay, Star Frontiers'. One of several great TSR games WotC and then Hasbro has utterly ignored when they could have made a mint off of them, along with Basic/Expert D&D (also shown), Top Secret, and others...there's more to RPGs, after all.
@VulpisFoxfire yes, Star Frontiers is one of my first loves in gaming. I plan to do a show about that soon. There's some interesting things going on with a rebirth of SF, so I'm watching it unfold first. Good call!
The glock and bullets were a nice touch. I want snakes suppressed mac10 😆. The enemy movement in the game is kinda awkward. The kickstarter bonus provided minis for prisoners and player characters That fast forward movie explanation lol
Appreciate the video, been wondering about this.
The kickstarter had the option to buy a Neoprene mat of the map as well that prolly helps a ton with the stuff sliding around on the board

@osiriszoran2304 yeah, there's so much that IS cool about it! Just wish the game play was better, haha.
Sounds almost as disappointing as Escape from LA
