Becky, I am a fellow Michigander (near Metro Airport) and my husband does screen repair and you can have pet screening put in. We have 4 cats so he is replacing our screens with pet screening. It is a thicker screen material and our little kitten already tried climbing it and no rips!

Regarding cat making holes in screens -- my kitty, Midnight Perry, would sleep in windowsills. One foot would be braced up on the screen and her foot claw eventually wore a little hole... At Walmart I bought a small screen - you just place it in front of the actual screen... It is about 8 inches high, it only covers the lower part of the screen where the cat is stretched out. Kitty can still lie there, and if claw holes appear in the inside screen you can just tape it or toss it and buy a new one, they are inexpensive. Although I've never had to buy new ones, in the six years since I started using them.

New to your channel and I’m binge watching your videos tonight haha the inner part of the windows is called the window tracking! I love how in depth you cleaned. I’ve never cleaned my walls besides in the bathroom seasonally (all of the steam from showers seams to mess up the walls frequently) but I will definitely clean my walls in the new home. I hear it helps the air you breathe bc the walls are the “largest filter of the home” or something silly like that since so much dust and bacteria sticks to them that we can’t see! I’m definitely team hardwood/vinyl for sure!!! Carpet gives me the heebie jeebies but I do LOVE watching carpet cleaning and vacuum lines haha *editing to notify you of the comment *

I use the Zep brand to mop the hardwood floors at my work.. I'm a janitor for Lilac lanes here in Spokane Washington.. Not sure if I like it though because every time I refill the container for the spray mop I use at work and the soap gets onto my hands I just feel an erge to wash my hands and get it off, it makes my hands feel kinda sticky.. it sucks haha

I love the face you make when Hazel runs out with the stuffing. Also a tip for storing bows I do it on wall but you like things very minimal. So I would tie two pieces of ribbon to a hanger on hazel side of closet put big bows down 1 ribbon & little ones down another. Then you can just walk up look grab and go. I wash my walls twice a year. In the spring then fall especially when the windows are open the dust from outside comes in.
