I don’t have kids and I recently months back had surgery out of my control a partial hysterectomy and the way I see things I do everything for my neice’s and nephews I’ve always done it for them but now it’s even more then ever. & seeing there faces light up over something so simple is the best feeling. I love cleaning at night - that is the main time I do it (except bedrooms, those have to be done earlier because - sleeping peoples). Being in Australia and with how hot it gets here in Queensland during the day nighttime is just easier. And much less distractions as even the dogs are asleep with the hooman dad :) We just got done with about 4 days of nothing but rain so a deep clean of the floors is a must do item today as well!

So between your last video and today I had a loss in the family. My aunt passed. I wasn’t really close with her due to personal reasons with my parents. I was able to speak to her for a brief moment on Friday(November 22) before she passed the following Monday or Tuesday and on top of that it’s my granddad 80 birthday today so this video was well needed. Hug your loved ones close or even call them while you still can because we never know when the last time will be
My hubby has ADD and so I carry the mental load for both of us. It can be a lot. I think women primarily do this. Last year’s New Year’s resolution was to write down everything instead of holding it in my brain. I am much less stressed. He helps so much around the house, I’m also very lucky.
I actually added the steam shot to my Christmas list haha! People think I might be weird for that but for real sometimes I just want my new cleaning tools! Last year I got a tineco wet vac and love it thanks to your videos. 🎉

I love ELF! They're definitely a budget friendly brand with great quality. Our Elf came today, 12/1. This is the first year we're doing this. Last year, my daughter's kindergarten teacher had a classroom Elf on the Shelf, which in turn, made her want to do one at home, but we couldn't find one in the store last year. I don't think our Elf will be too crazy. The rule was "don't make a mess that requires an adult to cleanup"
@@JamiesJourney It's funny, my daughter's teacher would do a mix of pranks and hide-and-seek. One day, Elf would be caught in the blinds, the next day, he'd be hiding in her desk drawer. I imagine we'll be doing something like that for our kids
I have a shark deluxe pro rocket vacuum that has done wonders for us. I use it for the stairs and the carpet. And one of the two attachments is great for picking up pet hair.
Hey Jamie👍, I'm putting up more decorations today. I'm trying to get into the holiday spirit. 🎄 This year has gone by so fast for me.🎉 Next year for Thanksgiving, I want to do something different like visit a new place and celebrate there or even to have the food catered.
Now on a more positive note. Laundry and my bathroom is clean. The house got vacuumed on Friday which I was suppose start that Thursday but I was lazy😂oops. No vacation for the end of the year. Which I’m grateful for because it will be cold in Chicago and possibly snowing. 😂
Just remember it is your choice as a parent of what your children are involved in. Kids need to be at home more- imo- less sports, more church, more downtime. But that’s just me. We don’t gift outside of a few gifts to our kids. Easier that way!
FYI. Be careful with oven cleaner. My mother-in-law got ez off in her eye, she never went to doctor and eventually lost her eye to cancer You can wear eye protection glasses like the ones lawn care workers use . Love your videos 🌲
