- How to Use Snapchat Spotlight
Snapchat Spotlight is a new way to share videos on Snapchat.
It's a new icon on Snapchat for sharing short video snaps.
Snapchat is joining Instagram Reels and TH-cam shorts to compete with TikTok short-form vertical videos.
Go viral and you could earn a share of more than $1,000,000 a day.
Update your Snapchat app and you'll see a new icon on the bottom for viewing Snap Spotlights.
You can Heart a spotlight and share it on Snapchat or copy the link to share it.
Videos in the spotlight need to be under 60 seconds and can't have any watermarks. So you can't just upload TikTok videos.
You can post to Snapchat spotlight, the same way you post any Snap.
But instead of sharing the video to Story, you'll see a new option for sharing to Spotlight.

Hi there, I just want to know how to post things on spotlight I live in New Zealand and it is saying it’s available but when I try to post it’s not there any tips?
Whenever I follow those directions my spotlight at the top doesn’t show up to where I can send it to spotlight. All I see is “My Story” & a list of my followers. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong?

When I post a spotlight that is more than 10 seconds it get published but in the wrong order, for example when I post a 40 seconds spotlight it publish the 1st 10 seconds then the 3rd 10 seconds then the 2nd 10 seconds so the video doesn't look right. What can I do?

You have to actually post on spotlight till you get the amount of subs to have a creator profile and when you get the creator profile you get the creator story.

nope. tested it out and didnt show up. unless someone was to search your username on spotlight then they can see it.

It allows you to submit up to 60 SECS, but even things ive posted that are only 15 seconds, half of it is "live" half of it is not, its just "submitted" that's garbage. Ppl are putting out content & snapchat is hacking it to pieces why?

How can I upload from camera roll
@@lyriccmaster5681 hit the camera button like you are going to record. Then select the button to the left that looks like cards being fanned out but its actually pictures. Then it will open your camera roll and up top will give you categories to select to find what you wish to upload. Once you do hit select hit the arrow on the bottom right corner and it will give you the option to add to story, spotlight, or send to someone. Then you are done.

I assume because they don’t want people stealing content from tiktok and reuploading them here. Other apps like Zynn had big issues with that
If it has the tik tok watermark it doesn’t work. U can however go to share, Live Photo, then crop the bottom then send and covert to video. That works
