Make sure when you make the corn bread (the jiffy corn muffin mix) you add in a can of cream corn to it. It makes for the most moist and delicious corn bread you can have.
I don't know how it is usually done in the UK, but in the USA, the best corn bread is usually instead of done in a muffin pan, done in a cast iron skillet.
It is still delicious in muffin form. But for some reason a cast iron skillet seems to take it to another level.
You could do an entire video just on making the corn bread. People would watch.

I’ve found several very positive TH-camrs reacting to America. But I love his enthusiasm.
I think we tend to focus on the ugly reactions from others just like they react to the ugly Americans. The ugly tends to be big and loud. The nice not so much.
But maybe I’m biased. Because my grandmother was English and every English person has been lovely.
I'm always amazed watching people outside the US responding to gifts from the US. It's so heartwarming. And it also blows me away! I'm over here like, "Wait, we have that? I gotta get me one of those..."

It is so refreshing just hearing nice things about America from other countries honestly.
Slight correction: Not all the people on the back of the $2 bill were born in England. It's a picture of the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the 2nd Continental Congress; of the 56 signers only 8 were born in the UK, the rest were born in the colonies.
I noticed that, too. They were born British citizens, but in the colonies.
Watching him get so excited and amazed at these gifts reminds me to be more grateful for what we have here.

Fun fact, the Solo cups lines are measurements. The first line is 1oz for shots, the second line is 5oz for wine, the 3 line is 12oz for beer. The second line is also used to measure drink size for children too. You can mix drinks by using the line, example, 1oz Jameson, 4oz ginger ale, then perfect amount of ice will bring it to the 12oz line. Yea I did a lot of partying in my drunken young days. Not so much anymore.
RIP Toby Keith. A recation to his good Red Solo Cup video would be a great video for a celebration of life for him. He has a lot more serious songs but this is a house party/ frat party staple and a great way to remember his sense of humor.

You see, I'm almost 70 years old, with 3 children (2 have passed away) and I have no grandchildren... so watching your joy and excitement while you open your gifts,, brings back so many sweet memories of watching my children's excitement from almost 50 years ago!. Alright! Use that Bisquick to make biscuits (check the box for a recipe) and the gravy packet for the country gravy. Do that, and then let's see a taste test. ;) You're all set for some biscuits and gravy.

@@withlov yes as it would more than likely be over salted. My late girlfriend and I had a policy when it came to a couple types of gravy. I left the the seasoned brown flour style gravy to her to make, and she left the cram style to me to make.
@@withlov Surprisingly, that Pioneer brand is pretty good. We like the sausage white gravy one for our biscuits. It's hard to believe that one packet of that gravy mix and some water makes a very creamy, thick gravy.

Hand wash the Starbucks mug! Don’t put it in the dishwasher. I have gotten them as gifts for people a few times, the mugs that change color or images. The dishwasher gets too hot, will make what appears on the mug turn translucent and hard to see and unreadable after 3 washes. So glad you have such a cool fan base that sends stuff like this! ❤

Look at the folded papers in the clear plastic holders attached to the box. That would have the shipping and sender's information.
FYI: You can use the Bisquick to make biscuits to go with your gravy. In pancakes and waffles and more. Check out the recipe options on the side and back of the box. I think it is a staple in most homes in America.
For pancakes, don't be afraid to add a little more milk than the recipe says if you want thinner, lighter cakes. Go easy though. Enjoy! Maybe someone from Vermont will send you real maple 🍁 syrup for your pancakes 🥞.

I hope someone sends him some, It's like $20 here in CA, when we were in NH it was super cheap, around $6.00 for the same exact bottle (and no sales tax). This guy is missing out! We Americans love you! I love watching these unboxing videos. My parents neighbor is from Britain and I love talking to him about differences between England and the USA. I especially love spending the Fourth of July over there, it’s a great way to experience Independence Day.
Loved watching you open the boxes. The one with the Tabasco - Tabasco is a staple in our home. We grew up in South Louisiana & in South Mississippi. Tabasco is made on Avery Island, Louisiana. As a little girl, splashing some Tabasco in red beans and rice to get that vinegar kick with some heat while sitting at my Granny’s table, eating with my family are some of my favorite memories as so many have passed on. If you ever try the Deep South in the US, an Avery Island tour of the Tabasco plant might be worth a look. I can’t believe how much I enjoy watching your enthusiasm and love of all things USA. Always brings a smile.

Important pancake tip! MUST READ!!!
One of the most important steps of making good pancakes is not to overmix. Use a wire whisk and mix as few times as possible. It doesn't need to be perfectly smooth. Matter of fact if it's perfectly smooth you ruined it. Make each mixing stroke as efficient as possible. I've never tried to find a video demonstrating proper pancake mixing but maybe its possible.
Another tip is that right when the top dries, loses it's sheen, spoon a ring of batter on the outside edge. When you flip it, you'll have a uniformly thick pancake that isn't domed in the middle.
Also let the batter rest for about ten minutes before using.
The person sent the Bisquik mix for making biscuits to go with the gravy mix for Biscuits 'n Gravy.

Yes, the good thing about bisquik is you can make pancakes and biscuits from the mix. It’s all I use. Plus I don’t roll the biscuits out. I use the drop biscuit instructions.

I live in Missouri as well, just down in the bootheel near Cape Girardeau and seeing that Joe's KC BBQ sauce made my day...what would make it even more was to give him a KC Chiefs hat and Patrick Mahomes jersey to match that.
We live in San Diego but my husband is from KC. We always take some Gates BBQ sauce back when we visit. Gates is good for a quick local bite, Arthur Bryant’s is good but always busy, but we like going to Rosedale’s more than the others.
