The "Kenobi" Vader is a really strange case for me. It was originally released as the 2017 40th ANH Vader, but since Hasbro is remaking ANH Vader I guess it is now primarily the Kenobi Vader.
The funny part is that it’s not even accurate to the show. The shoulder bells are black in the show, and the helmet is technically a mix between ANH and Rogue One. The forearms on that sculpt always bothered me as his gloves in Kenobi, Rogue One, and ANH all go almost up to his elbows and sit pretty tightly to his forearms, it’s one of the reasons that the Kenobi design is my favorite look on the character, but the figure very poorly reflects that.
You can fix the helmet issue with the RotJ Vader helmet by just simply heating it up and holding it in place until it fits correctly. I did it when I got mine and it looks so much better than the Kenobi and ESB helmets imo

This is great info, thx for the compare/contrast. Still no Vader in my collection but I’ve always been a fan of him in all his glam glory so ESB shiny helmet version is at the top of my list. Nice vid, hope you feel better.
Thanks for making this video, this is super helpful and informative to people who are new to the black series line. I only have a couple, around 5 black series figures and the only Vader I have currently is the standard Kenobi version. I definitely want the Dual’s End version cause of that head-sculpt
@@TommyBOSSK the first black series figure I got was Clone Wars Season 7 Darth Maul. I currently own CW7 Darth Maul, Kenobi Vader (standard), Stormtrooper, Han Solo (A New Hope), and Commander Appo (honestly he’s just a standard 501st clone cause of the helmet inaccuracy not having the arrow.) That’s a nice collection you got going. I want to get an OT Boba Fett, eventually but I’m hoping they give him a cloth piece instead of the current molded plastic rubber version.
@@anthonyacuna8604 thanks nice I have ordered the rotj vadar it's coming tomorrow I have the rotj boba and my lando is rotj , I didn't mean to but I've ended up having a prequels theme so I am staying with that as my early build I want one of each character and I wannt the maul so bad the clone wars mnmetal legs maul tbh I didn't like the look until i watched an over hour long video of all the darth maul scenes in star wars history jj didn't watch the clone wars or rebels but the only darth maul appearances and it was great really interesting and it's cannon. Which figures are you wanting next to get. I will be getting Bib fortuna and Ponda baba Berry cheap figures to add more but cool aliens and just 20 for both having just spent 30 on vadar alone. I'd recommend greedo cheap 13-17 it costs and would look great with your collection
@@anthonyacuna8604 the lando rotj is cheap and so nice soft blue Cape and an excellent face scan and the chewbaca is archive he was 20 and is wey taller then the other figures that's what I love the scale he can be at the back
I have the new Return Of the Jedi Vader and I have finally managed to work out how to put the helmet on properly and I can turn it upside down and shake it and everything 😁. Because of this it is now my favourite Vader over the empire one that is my second favourite. I don't own the Final duel yet but hopefully one day. Like I said my favourite is the ROTJ because now I have worked it out. I am not able to explain how I managed it because it something I would have to show in a video. But guys there is a way of doing it I assure you. I thought my one was faulty and then one day I cracked it and like I say I can shake it about and it only comes off when I get violent. A kid will probably lose it but for an adult collector it is more than secure enough.
I got the two Kenobi Vader figures I just got the duels end Vader today before work although the Target app said the figure was out of stock. The store had three of them I also got commander Appo as well the same thing Target app said it was out of stock I do need to find another Appo. Not believing Target is out of stock of anything it's happened before.
With The ROTJ Vader you when you put the helmet on you have to line the head in the correct position and then the helmet will go on! There’s a video By I think has name was Centurion Corner watch that if you struggle to put the helmet on! That’s what I did!
Dunno what it is about the new hope version, but i really like it. To me its like an inversion of jedi robes. Empire and up obviously looks great too, but i dunno, i kinda prefer the first.
I think Kenobi Vader looks the best with the gun metal gray paint detail on the helmet but ESB Vader has better articulation. I personally like the paint on the Kenobi Vader better than the all glossy look on the ESB Vader helmet but both are must haves imo.

my vader helmet fits like charm. its my first vader and in my opinion the best of all vaders.
