Would love a part 2. The video needs a final results screen though.
Each battery and charts or w/e showing their tested lasting time.

I’ve been using the 1600 mAh battery in my childhood sp I’ve been playing and modding and it’s been working so well after playing it daily for 5 min to 5 hour sessions playing on level 4/15 brightness. I thought it was crap initially because it would go into the red light after only a half hour, but after cleaning and rebuilding the power switch, it’s been a perfect dream to use never having to worry about running out while out playing away from home. Thank you for making this test video because I’ve been wondering about the validity of the batteries available since initially replacing this one. Your videos have been a huge help

Well the Red light means nothing, sps are know to have trouble with that after some time, all game boys in fact.

Thanks for posting this! My OG SP battery in my childhood console had it's age gradually catch up to it. So I need to eventually swap it, but I didn't know which one would be worth investing in. This video is so helpful! Please do a part 2!

Excited for part 2. Bought two beat up sps from ebay for cheap that I'm gonna mod but they're missing batteries. Been curious about the helder and makho batteries for a bit.

What screen is your gba sp using on this vid? A funny playing ips v2 screen? Also want to know how much batter life it would be when using an everdrive cart?

Please do a part 2!! I got an FP battery, but the plastic casing was deformed/bulging, so I am scared to order another one. Definitely want to buy another, but very curious which of those last three is best + how they compare to the 1600 batt

Any chance part 2 could include a bunch of DS batteries considering how well that did? Maybe there's something about the DS that makes them better?

Battery can have bigger capacity in same size! They can have different density, better chemicals, etc

I bought the 1600 battery a week ago and played yesterday and today with the gba, actually lasted 12+ hours playing pokemon yellow, it turned off a few times, but just turning it on again I could play 1-2 hours more, so if you are looking for a replacement, definitely go with this one, its still very much scam, as its like 600-800mAh but still, best cheap one you can get I would say, at least for me, as the mahko style ones don't ship to germany 💀

That ds lite battery was expected to last longer because it was designed to power two screens

Nice vid Jake! Are you still using the DIY Overhead Rig and Lights from Fred Meyer? Looking to make or buy an overhead rig for filming unboxings. Thanks!
