Looking back at Ghosts in general, it was actually a pretty damn good game compared to the COD games to follow.
I remember when Ghosts was released that everyone thought it was awful, and that's not suprising when we had been blessed with all the previous titles, but it was the last COD before microtransactions took over and the genre went mad.
COD WW2 was meant to be the game that took COD "back to its roots", and it would've if it wasn't for ridiculous immersion breaking additions that were not only in the game as standard, but were added through microtransactions too.
Don't get me wrong, COD games have never been the most immersive, but when they used to do a theme they'd at make it seem believable both in MP and Campaign.
I don't think many of us can have enough creativity in us to believe, or pretend should I say, that there were female US pilots running about with MG42's.
With COD games like WAW, It was okay to have a US Marine running about with a German MP40, as we wouldn't lose our immersion, as we could imagine that it was a certain battle that they ran out of ammo with their weapons, so they had to use the enemies, which did happen in the war, but as far as immersion breaking content and abilities go, that's about the worst there was in the older COD games

I loved the guns in this game, they were so unique and all different. I loved the detail when you shoot a gun with high power like the Remington, the sound waves that come off of it. My favourite was the vector crb, I’d love to see it back again (not the fast firing version but the slower harder hitting one)

Man, this is one of my favorite COD games. And I say that because, well, this was the very first COD game I've ever played. This is what got me into COD in the first place. Cause I really love the story, the multiplayer, and the extremely awesome Extinction mode. The story just showed me a story of two brothers caught up in a war, and it made me wonder what it be like if me and my brother were in the same situation. Then the multiplayer was where me and my brother had the most fun. One of my favorite maps was Prison Break, mostly because whenever my brother was about to kill me, I'd jump off of the waterfall. I remember when all we did was sniper matches. I always lost, but they were still fun. Then there was Extinction. I just loved it cause I was fighting aliens. And my favorite weapons from the multiplayer were:

44. Magnum.
And if I had to give this game a rating, I'd give it 10/10, mostly because that game is what made me love the COD series.

This game was set in a sort of post apocalyptic world so maybe. Some of the mission are In Destroyed cities and a lot of the multiplayer maps are too.

The critics didn't say it was a bad game. The community did. I personally find really enjoyable. If it's a technical issue like lag, it's understandable. Content's a bit lackluster from launch but in DLC, it was awesome. If people complain of gameplay, maybe they suck(IMO).
0:00 *.44 Magnum*: Despite the name and capacity, the barrel states it to be chambered in .454 Casull. The hammer is also cocked insanely quickly, and is always cocked, even when reloading, when the cylinder cannot be operated when the hammer is cocked, while the hammer is stuck in place when the cylinder is out of alignment. To finish off, the speedloader is modelled incorrectly.
0:17 *P226*: Incorrectly holds 14 rounds in multiplayer. 9mm P226s have 15 round magazines. The campaign and Extinction depict it with 12 round magazines, which is realistic if the pistol is .40 or .357 calibre. Finally, the hammer is always half-cocked.
0:41 *MP-443*: Incorrectly holds 10 rounds, with 15 round magazines available as an attachment, when the real pistol holds 18 rounds. The MP-446 Viking is a similar pistol which uses 10 round magazines, but only it can use these, not the Grach. The hammer is also double-action only. Extinction depicts it as firing in full-auto.
1:00 *M9A1*: It has an incorrect 12 round capacity, only available for the .40 calibre Beretta 96. This can be changed to 18 rounds, which is somewhat more accurate. 18 round magazines exist for the Beretta 92 series, but they has a distinctive look. The M9A1 itself can accept 17 round magazines. Extinction depicts it as firing in 3-round bursts. At least the hammer is mostly cocked.
1:24 *PDW*: Incorrectly fires in 3-round bursts in multiplayer, with a 12 round capacity. The gold-plated version fires fully-automatically and holds 20 rounds. The campaign version holds 32 rounds and fires fully-automatically, despite 32 rounds only being possible with 33 round magazines, when the weapon is always depicted in every version with 19 round magazines.
1:30 *Vector CRB*: The Vector CRB is a civilian semi-auto only version with a longer barrel. The gun in-game is a standard Vector. It also holds 32 rounds in a 30 round magazine in multiplayer.
1:45 *Bizon*: Holds 36 rounds in a 64 round magazine. This can be increased to 54 rounds, which would be almost correct for the 9x19mm Bizon, but the receiver markings say it's chambered in 9x18mm.
2:03 *CBJ-MS*: Holds 34 rounds in multiplayer and 32 rounds in the campaign despite the real gun having a 30 round magazine.
2:19 *Vepr*: Incorrectly designated as a SMG, when it is really an assault rifle. It holds 32 and 42 rounds in Extinction and multiplayer, respectively, despite the real capacity of 30 rounds seen in the campaign.
2:36 *K7*: The fire selector is incorrectly set to safe.
2:51 *MTAR-X*: Incorrectly called a submachine gun and named after the SMG variant of the MTAR, when it is clearly 5.45. It carries a 32 round capacity in singleplayer (correct only for an actual 9x19mm MTAR), 38 and 57 round capacity in multiplayer and 40 and 60 round capacity in Extinction, all within a clearly 30 round magazine.
3:09 *SA-805*: Other than the strangely low quality model and odd Spetsnaz-styled reload, this is fairly realistic.
3:25 *Honey Badger*: The fire selector is incorrectly set to safe. In Extinction, it holds 35 round in a 30 round magazine. Other than that, the inactive but prominent bolt catch not engaging and choice of ARX-160 sights is odd, but possible.
3:42 *SC-2010*: In addition to the atrocious trigger discipline, while 30 round magazines are available for the FAL, the gun in-game has a 20-round magazine. Extinction has a universally incorrect 24 round capacity, aswell as a lack of a full-auto mode, defying the fire selector.
3:58 *AK-12*: No inaccuracies, except for it being the prototype model.
4:16 *FAD*: Incorrectly full-auto only, with a two-position fire selector. Also, in multiplayer, it holds 42 rounds in a 30 round magazine.
4:35 *MSBS*: The fire selector is set to full-auto, but it fires in bursts. This can be corrected with an attachment. It is also a prototype MSBS.
4:51 *ARX-160*: The rounds are said to be propelled by pressurized gas, but this would not allow lethal velocity. It also claims to be 5.45 calibre.
5:06 *Remington R5*: Incorrectly holds 24 rounds in multiplayer, and 40 rounds in Extinction, both only with a 30 round magazine.
5:21 *LSAT*: Strangely has the rear sight of an M249, and apparently 13 or more rounds that go unfired.
5:55 *Chain SAW*: Holds a non-standard 80 or 120 rounds in multiplayer, and the underbarrel grenade launcher is unusable, and replaced with a FN 40GL when the grenade launcher attachment is used. Oh, and apparently 11 or more rounds go unfired, even on an "empty" reload.
6:24 *Ameli*: Strangely has the charging handle of an MG42, and apparently 12 or more rounds that go unfired.
6:55 *M27-IAR*: No inaccuracies, though I hope the safety was off when the fire selector broke.
7:26 *Bulldog*: Incorrectly holds 6 rounds in multiplayer and Extinction, with the physically impossible extended mags attachment bringing it up to 9 rounds. The underbarrel version in multiplayer holds 4. In addition, the reload violates basically every firearms handling rule, excluding trigger discipline.
7:38 *MTS-255*: Strangely, the cylinder latch has been repurposed as a safety, and a throw lever is used to release the cylinder instead.
7:52 *FP6*: While the shells are a nice touch, the pump is cycled even with a loaded chamber.
8:09 *Tac 12*: Only the left tube is loaded during the reload, meaning the capacity should be 6+1 shells. It, instead, has a maximum capacity of 10 shells. Extended mags increases the capacity to 15 rounds, which would be correct, but only if using 2 3/4" shells, and if the game tracked rounds in the chamber. Additionally, the windows into the magazine tubes appear to have had shells simply painted onto the inside of the them, as they never deplete.
8:38 *MR-28*: Incorrectly designated, as it combines the civilian (MR308) and German military (G28) designations. It also holds 24 and 36 rounds in a 20 round magazine in multiplayer, but a paltry 8 rounds in Extinction.
9:01 *L115*: The name implies it is either an L115A1 or L115A3, but it is neither. It also combines a right handed bolt and stock with left handed receiver, which is impossible.
9:20 *MK14 EBR*: Incorrectly holds 10 rounds in the campaign (though 10 round magazines exist), 18 and 27 in multiplayer and 21 in Extinction, all within a 20 round magazine. Though, it's quite a thin magazine, so maybe it's 10 rounds anyway. Also the bolt should be locked back on empty.
9:39 *SVU*: Shares the incorrect 18, 27 and 21 round capacities with the other battle rifles, despite using a 10 round magazine, and incorrectly uses a proprietary bipod. In addition, the charging handle should be locked back on empty.
9:59 *USR*: Holds 6 and 9 rounds in multiplayer and 8 rounds in Extinction, despite being shown with a 10 round magazine. It also is stated to use .338 Lapua Magnum, when the USR cannot fire .338.
10:20 *Lynx*: In multiplayer, it holds 8 or 12 rounds in a 5 round magazine, with a 4 round capacity when used as a pointstreak. The cant indicator also is completely static, and the replacement magazine has no bullets or opening on an empty reload.
10:39 *IA-2*: Incorrectly holds 10 rounds in the campaign (though 10 round magazines exist), 18 and 27 in multiplayer and 21 in Extinction, all within a 20 round magazine. It also seems to be based off the prototype.
10:56 *VKS*: Incorrectly semi-auto, when the real gun is bolt-action. It holds 10 rounds in multiplayer and Extinction despite using a 5 round magazine, and multiplayer allows an incorrect 15 round capacity.
11:13 *Panzerfaust*: The rocket is incorrectly marked as a much older one. Otherwise, reasonably accurate.
11:23 *MK32*: It incorrectly fires Semtex hand grenades of varying type, with a strange reload that doesn't play well with optics.
11:31 *Kastet*: "Aiming" does not use the iron sights, which are there for a reason. The weapon is incorrectly cased, with western grenades standing in for the Russian caseless ones.
11:39 *Frag Grenade*: Eyup. It's an M67. Lever comes off, pin is pulled, it's ok

The designs on the guns are pretty interesting, some of them are all scratched up and fading, while some are much cleaner and brand new. I never really noticed that until now

Riley is my favorite character out of the whole campaign.
Ghosts is still one of my all time favorite Call of Duty games. It had a decent campaign, Extinction was and is better than Zombies, the multiplayer was really fun and solid minus some of the super large maps, and it had Squads mode which was another unique mode. I get that a lot of guns seemed to be a bit hit or miss and that's mainly because they are guns that haven't really been in seen in Call of Duty until Ghosts or ever seen again besides those few guns that we're in MW2/3 and then the Ghosts guns that we're brought into Advanced Warfare. I was so excited to play the game and I'm going back and re-playing it and loving it all over again. There are features that I wish Infinity Ward brought over from Black Ops 2 like having red dots on Pistols, having camo on secondaries, and some other things.
The DLC guns we're super solid and I wish they were in other games and I wish there was more guns. I miss the field orders dude.. those were the bomb and the DLC maps were the shit. I wish they built on the things that Ghosts tried to do instead of take it away.
And I dont agree with the description of this video, "Ghosts, the call of duty no one wanted"
That's a lie. I really wanted this game and I still hold it as one of my favs. It's up there with Infinite Warfare.

Ghosts had one of the best reload animations, especially the SA-805 and honey badger, SA-805 really had more than one animation. That's one of the rarest things in a CoD game!

On top of that, Ghosts had 3 maps remade from the previous, they have 2 iconic characters: Predator and Michael Myers, plus they even have Snoop Dogg as an announcer dude. Everyone knows that Black Ops 3 and Advanced Warfare multiplayer is 100% trash. Everyone likes to overlook and underestimate Call of Duty: Ghosts. So you might wanna rethink your strategy because you backed yourself into a corner

It's a shame we never got a sequel to Ghosts, the campaign was really good, but it felt incomplete where since Rorke I knew was alive the whole time and since he separate Logan from his other brother Merrick, I still wanna see what happens

во многих играх когда прицеливаешься в 4х допустим, то прицеливается поле зрение за прицелом, это же не реалистично
а тут мы видим как он прицеливается и если человек не хомячок, то он заметит что прицеливается только в прицеле, а за прицелом нет

I honestly haven’t been a console or PC gamer long I’ve always played with Nintendo’s but in 2013 I got COD ghosts on 360 and absolutely loved it so this game holds a special place in my heart since I’m now on PC

Then I switched from Xbox to pc because it was cheaper and now I play on pc all day
