Hey man! Following your journey. We are in the middle of press pulse as well, we are doing it for my dad. He just completed his first cycle. Consider trying dapagliflozin. It’s a diabetes medication that my dad took along with metformin. Was suggested to us by the Hippocrates foundation team. That brought our glucose down a further 10 points, from the high 70s low 80s to the very low 70s high 60s. It really gave the glucose the final push that it needed! Wishing you the best
@@tylerlink Pretty much everything Jason is doing. Here's a brief summary of everything we have learnt. 1. No more than 300 calories per meal. Minimum 2.5 hours apart. Splitting up the meals equally and keeping each small will keep blood sugar stable. Glucose target it is 55-65 mg/dl. 2. To achieve this, keep calories around your basal metabolic rate (BMR). Start protein start higher amounts, and keep titrating it down until you hit your glucose numbers. For us, we ended up at 41 grams of protein (broken up into 4 meals 10.25g per meal) the day before DON in order to get into the zone with confidence. We would cycle it up to 55 grams of protein the day after DON, and bring it down to 45 then eventually back to 41 as we approach DON days to bring up the average for the week. Not everyone has to do this but my dad is of lower muscle mass so it was necessary. Ketogenic ratio for us was 2.5. For others it can be 2:1 or 1.5:1. It really depends on the individual. We kept net carbs below 5 grams per day. Finding the macros that work for your body will be a process of trial an error. A good starting point is 2:1 ratio and you can drop it further to increase protein grams if you are in the zone, or vice versa, by increasing the ratio and dropping protein if you are not in the 55-65 glucose zone. The ultimate goal is to be able to consume as many calories, and protein grams as possible, while staying in the required glucose zones. 3. Drop calories 10% below your BMR if you are not getting in the zone. Drop another 10% after that if you are still not there. 4. Mebendozole at 50mg/kg. 5. Metformin + Dapaglifozin (start with 5mg/day) + Berberine for glucose control if you are not getting the required numbers. 6. Pulse DON on days 0 - 4 - 8 - 12 - 16 - 20, take 10 days to 2 weeks break, and repeat. 7. DON dosage - start at 0.3mg/kg, go up on each subsequent dosage by 0.1mg/kg until you experience side effects. Once you experience side effects like nausea or diarrhea, reduce your dosage by 0.1mg/kg. Now you have found your maximum tolerable dose, stay on that dose for the rest of your protocols. For us we we got side effects at 0.8mg/kg, so we have dialed it back to 0.7mg/kg. 8. Take 30grams of psyllium husk fiber, the night before DON, and 30grams the day of DON (in the evening). This will protect your gut and allow you to achieve a much higher dosage before experiencing side effects. 9. HBOT 3-5x per week. Minimum 3x. HBOT Depth 2.4 minimum. 10. On DON days ensure all substrates are onboard right before the HBOT session. Will look something like this - Glucose in the range of 55-65, take DON 20 minutes before entering the HBOT chamber. Take one of your mebendozole doses 20 minutes before entering the chamber. If your glucose is at 75, you can get started with the pulse part of the protocol, as the HBOT will push glucose down a further 10. Keep optimizing as you go trying to get into that 55-65 range. 11. Keep a close eye on body composition/muscle mass. You can use in-body scan or dexa scans for this. You must avoid triggering cachexia over everything else. This supersedes every other concern as it is very hard to reverse once triggered. Strategies to do this include taking 5 grams of creatine/day. Taking the steroid oxandrolone, 20mg per day, or 40mg a day. And ensuring you are maximizing your protein intake. 12. Remember, the GKI is not of huge significance is your glucose at 85 and ketones are at 4. Some people are prolific at producing ketones, however you want glucose between 55-65. You will not always hit those numbers during your press, but having an average of 70 is considered excellent. Try to optimize it so that at least on DON days you are hitting everything perfectly. If you have a good body composition with high BMI and high muscle mass, you can do things like fasting the day before DON and day of DON. For people who don't have good body composition, do not do this. Losing muscle mass is not favorable. 13. For people who are very thin, use the breaks between the cycles to gain back some muscle mass. Can do 1g of protein per pound of body weight or 1.5g of protein per pound of body weight. Hope this helps!
Hi there! Would there be a way that I could contact you directly please? I am due to start the pulse part of the protocol in early August. I have the metformin, dapa and the mebendazole. Can I ask for how long were you doing the 300cals X 5 a day before you started the pulse? Still struggling to get my glucose down and ketones up. I wish you all the best for your dad!

Glad you're doing well, feeling well and spreading good energy!! In your opinion if you have one, is MCT oil more effective than coconut oil with respect to ketone production?
'MCT oils' turn into ketones a fair bit faster, so if you want a quick boost, go with the extracted shorter chain MCT oils. I don't know any actual timing numbers
Look at the press pulse papper. It's refrence number is 132. It's glycocongogates? Lol spelling of that is wrong. Simple answer is take chloroquin. Page 4 on press pulse papper refrence is 132.
Maybe MAP amino acids (all the essential amino acids in a pill) might be an option. Instead of a shake (usually with a lower quality amino profile)? At first glance a bit pricy, but if one considers grams of high quality protein / dollar they are reasonable. We should optimize the 14 g of protein for quality.
Hi Jason. I remember from your last scan your tumour had increased in size. Did your oncologist comment with his thoughts about any treatment suggestions. Sending love and prayers xx
Hi Jason, thanks for sharing. I received my D yesterday and planning to start my own press pulse. Possible to share how do you take the D? Do you split into smaller dosses 2.5hours apart? Appreciate your help ❤
I have heard at the smaller doses outlined by seyfried all at once under the toung or sub q fairly shortly before HBOT. I have also heard people using Enteric pills. At the higher doses, I have heard of people doing both. Splitting up and taking all at once. From what the word out there is, it depends on how you handle it and to start low.
I am having the best luck with deisl. It's uses stevia, which I dont prefer, but when using my cgm for 2 weeks, my glucose never moved. It was the only meal 3 hours before and 3 hours after.
@@jasonwatson6104 I think I will heal of my milk allergy over time since I can handle a little butter whereas when I first started carnivore a year ago, I could not. I am just going to try the pea protein to see if it will spike my sugar first. If it does, I will try the Diesel whey protein. It is definitely cleaner with less ingredients. I just hate to spend a bunch on it and not be able to use it. I do have trouble eating consistently because I work and am on the go even on days when I am off.

Leucine (mtor) and possibly cysteine.
