I remember this band in the 80's 1985,86,87,and 88 they were the best one's to compete against and i loved watching them dance. in the 80's they were damn good ... i'm not saying they are not good now but anything from the 80's was damn good Dodge County Marching Chiefs trumpet player 1984-1988
Honestly this is probably the Last Decent year for all Savannah, and Augusta Bands. I Graduated in 08 and am Currently a member of Tennessee State University Aristocrat of Band, I marched for Beach High
@jamesnj757 You're right. They are not as sharp as they used to be. I don't know if it's because the talent isn't there with the band members or the Music director. Maybe it's the horrible choice of music also. But you are 100% right. I miss the days when Josey, Glenn Hills and Laney would bring people for miles just to see them perform. And the parades? Awe man, they would shut it down! Now the best thing in the parade is the motorcycle clubs. LOL!
