This game is being optimized currently in the coming weeks/months. So if people are wondering if your PC can handle it, yes, most likely it can. Even people with 4060ti's have some issues atm in late-game. Is being worked on!
I am happy to see the progress on this , i played the og RTS/FPS combo renegade and even the unreleased TIBERIUM which had the same concept, hoping this would revive the forgotten genre.❤
if you can get some more people to play in a lobby i'd love to watch! i want to try this game but: 1. i'm broke as hell 2. apparently it's really poorly optimized for a computer like mine
If i had a computer that could run this I’d give this a try. I love RTS games anyways. But the idea of being able to play as a soldier in one of these battles is just downright cool! And i have to say the sound of the Siege tank just sounds so menacing.
Try the Spellforce series if you like to play Rts with the ability to manually first personal control a character. The oldest titles have the best story tho.
Been looking for a similar sort of game to Natural Selection 2 which is one of my top all time games, seems this one needs a few more years in the oven tho.
The introduction cinematic is really good! the gameplay also looks really interesting, but something about the graphics looks kinda... blurry? to me? not sure if thats just a bad setting like some blur graphic setting or whatever.
I just checked the system requirements of this game, and I notice a pattern in the recent games. It seems like the bare minimum of GPU that you are able to play with is RX560 and that will probably get you some 30-40FPS with the absolute lowest possible setting and if you’re lucky that the game has it, with some FSR too, meanwhile to get a comfortable gaming performance you would need RX580 or better, RX590, there you would average out 60-80FPS on low to medium setting with and/or without FSR, which most of the time can still be applied on Balanced or Quality depending on the game, and still not lose out on the beauty of the game like how the developers intended it to be seen. Now you can use those GPUs and benchmark them to get other GPUs of equivalent performance, but for NVidia I would say it’s around the same as GTX1060 6GB or GTX980. With these cards, I’ve checked and you can basically play around 98% of the more relevant games on Steam, while games with the more ridiculous system requirements like Alan Wake 2 getting not even close to getting 10FPS with those GPUs. It also depends on your CPU as well but I would say on these tier of cards, it wouldn’t matter that much in the grand scale of things since an i3 10100f definitely aren’t bottlenecking an RX580 anytime soon, you may get to squeeze an extra 3 or 5 average FPS with better CPUs, but then the GPU would be bottlenecking the CPU and the extra price value to performance would’ve been for nothing. So in conclusion, if you want to be able to play all modern games with a peace of mind, get RX590 or GTX1060/980 and i3 12100f or Ryzen 5 3400G for the best value of price to performance, you can get better specifications but it’ll cost money, of course. This is the more “bare minimum gamer” kind like me
Good story, downloading it rn to give it a try. I noticed all the pictures in the cut scene were made by AI. Guess we have AI game developers helping make indie games love to see it
Let me know what you think! This is quickly becoming one of my current favorite games. Haha I didn't realize the cut scene images were AI generated until you pointed it out
This game looks pretty fun, but compared to the battles I remember from Savage XR its still a little lackluster, I hope that in the future the game will include upgrades to individual units as well as a shop for players to upgrade their unit within their class. Also, i didnt see that you get minerals from defeating enemy units, I think there should be a resource that will allow players to micro manage their unit to a certain extent like it is in Savage or any other FPS/RTS Hybrid
I didn't realize EA was trying something like this! I'll have to look into it. The game has a lot of potential for sure, I'm really impressed already with what the early access has to offer
Renegade was amazing for it's time. Natural Selection 2 is also a standout in this genre but is about 10+ years old by this point but still has like 200 players a day lol
The game has a lot of potential, but a lot of gameplay potential issues. The FOW looks awful, I can't tell what areas are scouted, and which aren't. Probably from the dust storm animation. And buildings look almost indistinguishable. It looks clunky, in terms of gameplay, though I haven't played it yet so I can't tell for certain. At noon, the map looks horrible from the commander perspective. The crystals also look tiny in comparison to the size of the harvester. Like, wtf. Why even have giant harvesters?

Man thanks for letting us know! Correct me if I'm wrong but are you one of the people working on this? This game is amazing so far
@@ElleixGaming I dont do any game sided development at the moment, but server side/management. And soon maybe also map designer ;)
Wow much respect
who cares? game is dead on arrival
Very interesting game! Definitely looking forward to more Silica content :D

It's ok bro, just blink as you play to make up for the fps.

Buying this later,it looks so dam god, even more insane knowing the initial (or maybe still) development was by 1 hero.
It's so fun man, been meaning to make another video on it!

Its becous when you play as comander and you switch to a playable unit you look through a "body cam" whan playing as infantry the screen is clear
And the heat haze on the horizon should make the screen blurrier that should be why.
Ngl who here loves RTS/FPS hybrid Genre games personally i LOVE THEM especially "Natural Selection 2"
👍. This reminds me of the game WARSHIFT form 2016

I thought you gonna say they pissed off the local zerg lol

Reckon you can increase the gameplay sound next play?
It’s funny you mentioned that because I made a note of it for the next Silica video!

Reminds me a little of angels fall first but with an open world and no space maps/ships/battles
I wish it could be played on console and mobile phones too lol
I just got this game. Is there any way to get rid of the film grain, chromatic aberration and other stuff? It hurts my eyes
So in commander mode you get the film grain if you go to FPS mode but if you choose exclusively FPS mode you’ll get a clearer image
That's a shame the 'immersion filters' are forced. Graphics and textures would defend themselves
Gameplay is very interesting, if i remember corectly EA tried this aswell but 2 seperate games. If anybody remembers command and conquer renegade.

Check out renegade x firestorm and nuclear dawn although nuclear dawn is dead
The game still needs a crap tonne of work.
Bullets are way too fast.

God I hate AI art
