I order from Hobbii quite often, and I've never been disappointed! I haven't used the Twirls Deluxe that you received, but have used the regular Twirls... I have A Virus Shawl on my hook with one! A tip for using the untwisted yarn... Before you start, put a small bead on the strand, it will help keep the yarn together as you use it. I use a size 8/0 seed bead. Have fun!
I wish I would’ve gotten that advice before I started the poncho I made. I had to frog it a bit and ended up having to just cut away the yarn because it got so tangled. Lesson learned tho.

I just ordered from Hobbii, some ribbon yarn that is 80 Cotton, 20 Poly, to make a crocheted rug. There are 137 yrd on each skein. I'm excited to receive. So glad to find a yarn shop that sells stuff less than you can buy in the USA.

I discovered Hobbii yarn last year and I love them. Their yarn and their service is second to none. I am addicted to their Twirls for making crocheted shawls. The colors are beautiful and I receive my packages super fast despite the pandemic. Their website has wonderful ideas made by real people who submit pictures of their finished items. I always get a little free gift in every package. I buy from them exclusively now because I want to load up on their yarns before the rest of the world finds out about them. LOL

I ordered from that same site April ,2020. I ordered a MEGGABALL of yarn in pale pink .I got a kinda raspberry pink not a pale pink . I live in the Untied States. The biggest problem I had with my Oder was ,it took almost 3 months to get my order ordered April got July 2020. I couldn’t get any help from their customer service about my order . Maybe if you are ordering from them and live in the United States the order may take a long time to be delivered . I am disabled and do all my shopping online . I find it very hard to find yarns I can afford then the price for shipping is so much . I just don’t have $100 to spend on yarn even if it was the most softest beautiful yarn I ever had in my life . The color amount of yarn was all perfect for what my dream project . Thank you for your great video !

I love hobbit yarns, but there are more, many more online sites that are very reliable and reasonable. Wool Warehouse, Black Sheep Wools Hobium, Ice Yarn are all excellent.

The Cotton Kings is definitely very like the Scheepjes Whirl, which I absolutely love. The Mayflower 3 reminds me a lot of the Rico Creative Wool Degrade.
Don’t feel down at all... happening all the time... online shopping is really tricky.. usually I really shop that I really know online... specially with fabric and yarn.. you need to touch it not just see a pic I can see you got a great deal though... love the colors 👍👍👍👍

I’ve bought quite a lot from Hobbii. Their 8/4 cotton is beautiful. I love the twister too. Cheaper than Scheepjes whirl , slightly different feel but my Sophie’s Dream blanket in twister is great. I love the Wolong bamboo sock yarn which they sadly are discontinuing. Yarn I’m not fond of is Malaga acrylic - I don’t like the feel of it or how it loses its ‘bounce’ when washed. Magic sock wool is horribly scratchy and really bad to frog. But all yarns are great prices and they have great customer service.
I love all the colors, but have a penchant for greens and blues, expecting a new grandbaby in the next couple of months, to win this would be fabulous to make something for the new baby

@@OpheliaTalks really? Because I've seen just the opposite. Where ever I look it seems cotton is the less expensive way to go verse a nice quality acrylic or wool ect. I bought Lion Brand 100% acrylic for 4.99 on sale but it's normally 5.99-6.99 for 250 yards. I've seen vottons for as cheap as 3.00 for this amount.

I live in New Zealand so most times buying yarn from overseas is good cost wise but once postage is added I find yarns here in NZ then even out to overseas yarns. So I don’t spend my dollars in another country. One day maybe.

I made a poncho for my niece out of the twister. Which is 4 strands. It was a real task! Plus it’s not very soft. Kind of rough.
