Accidentally letting the dog out and stopping the video to get him back in is so pure and endearing. 😂🤗
Sitting here in Clinton Mississippi USA in the morning with my coffee watching. It's my weekly ritual!
I need to stop watching these videos. You’re gonna have me moving across the ocean if I’m not careful.
I would think that thought falls under the "Life's too short" idea. If it's this cheap now? Where is it going to be in 10 years? 10x more? And you can enjoy it for 10 years before selling it? And you can use flight miles from a credit card to travel for free? No brainier..DO IT!! I know I am shortly.😂
@@kevincay9297 my wife is the hinderance 😂
Certainly considering it. Wife and I were looking at buying in Koh Samui, Thailand but political and ownership challenges concern me. Never considered Italy. Daughter lives in Manchester with husband, so much closer from Aussie.
Damn, makes me wish that my inheritance had finished probate, and my Army gratuity was six months early. Just perfect for me. Will have to let you know when I have the funds in place. Thanks David.
OMG - What an amazing home, property and view. Someone is going to be very lucky to own it and have David over for a bar-b-cue and drinks!
Thank you David for the awesome videos you produce. You are truly great at what you do and we are are lucky to have you on our side.
Happy Easter weekend to you all! ❤❤❤
One of the most beautiful and best restored house I have seen, I would only change the bathroom fixtures on the second floor, not the colored ones because they are highly sought after on the market 🙂
I am not too sure I could have you as a neighbor because every sunrise and sunset I would have to hear how stunning it is. I will say that this was one of the better videos you have done and the time just flew by watching it. The higher price point was a nice change from something much cheaper that I would expect to see and the area was very nice. Thank you 👍🏻
Really appreciate your little side trips into the features of the towns and surrounding areas that make each locale so special and unique, like the Balzolo quartiere and access to the mountain trails. If I lived there, the Maiella and Gran Sasso would be my playgrounds.
Not ready to buy yet, but this one ticks a lot of boxes
Hopefully we get some more of these
This one is an outstanding home, few others even come close - must be breaking their hearts to sell.
This is where my grandparents came from David!! My grandparent's family dates back to at least the 17th century!! Probably even further back. Very beautiful property and such a good buy. Please let us know when a property is in the 7% tax regime.🥰
My wife, mother in law and I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos. We are looking at purchasing a house there within a couple of years. I also want you to know that we have developed a drinking game with your videos. When you say "stunning", we have a drink. 😂. Thank you again. Cheers!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣cheers!
Love the house, the property, and the views. Love Love Love!
Another lovely property, i'm putting my house on the market soon and hope to buy somewhere in Europe by the end of the year, just one thing, it would be very helpful if you could give a compass bearing when at the property, mainly where South is in regards to the rear of the property or garden area, many thanks.
What an incredibly beautiful , beautiful village.
Wow! Love it, love it, LOVE IT! Wish they'd waited another year or so to sell as I think I would have bitten your hand off for it. It's perfect. Thank you though for another great video, really appreciate the little tours of the area at the start too.
In Sulmona now. This region is unbelievably beautiful. Touring hill towns, but Sulmona is our favorite spot so far.
Watching from northern Michigan drinking a Negroni and dreaming of Italy. Just added Balzolo to my list for the next trip over. Thank you David!
what a dream! love the beer drinking to help out 😂 I would be happy just having the basement! what a true place of paradise as you say, thanks so much..one day! xx
It looks really great. What a nature. Beautiful.
I have learned so much about Abruzzo, thanks to you Dave!
Wow what a beautiful area and amazing property
OMG what a video! It’s 4am here and I’m so sick with something nasty, but amazingly I feel better, for now. 😂
Enjoyed every moment of this video tour. Look forward to each one of yours!
I wish I had the money! This is a stunner. Love it ❤️❤️❤️
Truly a stunning, well loved home, thank you for the tour! I even loved seeing the little crane(?) on the second floor balcony, I often wonder why we don't see them more often in these lovely, but multi story homes, such a perfect way to haul heavy groceries and supplies!
I have fallen in love with many of the lovely homes you feature, but this one is truly special, it would be perfect for me. I'd happily live in the second floor apartment, love the kitchen, and the little library/office room with the divine view is a perfect place to hide away and dream. The first floor apartment would be perfect for the younger couple I'd need to help with the gardening and maintenance (I'm probably close in age to the current owners).
This is another one that is a jewel waiting for the next generations that will love and appreciate all the love the current owners put into it over the years, can't help feeling rather sad for them, selling can't be easy.
Laying in bed watching your videos early Saturday morning
"At this moment" (mentioned in the video), I have just warmed a cup of tea and am settling to see what property you have found to tempt us.
Wow. What an amazing area and old town. Heaven.
We are making Melanzone Parmesana in our new house in Tuscany. So grateful to be here, would never have imagined this 40 years ago when I was digging in my sofa cushions to find enough change to eat at Jack in the Box 😂
Fantastic neighbors, already wondering can we do this full time. If you dream of a home in Italy, it’s worth it in my view.
Melanzane alla parmigiana is the correct name. Please be more precise with my beautiful language.
0 km extra virgin olive oil ❤
The only concern would be the neighbours 🤣🤣🤣. Nice property. Thank you for sharing ❤️
One would imagine the neighbours are equally trepidatious, wondering what sort of people will be joining their close knit community 😉
I was waiting to see if you brought the torch😂
Absolutely beautiful even though dated ,but very much loved property. I’d gladly retire there
Big place 😊love the outdoor area ❤with olive 🫒 trees
Cup of tea, whilst watching this one. Not to my taste, but I’m sure someone will snap it up ❤
I wish we could afford this now. My wife and I want it! Maybe if we play the lottery?…
That single bedroom would make a great office or study. Everyone needs a place to do the books, read, drink a little brandy or port.
I love the way they haven’t cluttered up the house too much furniture. Very tasteful. A roof terrace would be a lot for a house with this much interior and exterior space. The price is very doable.
I wish I could move to Italy. I’ve been there three times and I love it there.
Fantastic house.
You had me at “Wait while you see this” 🤗🥰
☺️☺️☺️
Omg I’m in love😍
Another fine example of a multi-generational home.. historically correct for many European countries... designate a floor to each child and their offspring...or..make them all bedrooms for a large family...
For a single elder with no children it would work for apartment rentals...
🌿🌿🌿
where's my lottery numbers when I need them?
Oh Dave! We have been going back and forth on this one.. this home checks off so many of our boxes.. but the only thing stopping us from pulling the trigger is that it’s not walking distance to the village.. I won’t be driving (my husband will) so I need to be able to walk to basic conveniences and the local bar!!!
Get an electric bicycle. Go as fast as you want. You’d need good brakes.
There are electric tricycles too, much better for carrying shopping, and for folks of my generation (i.e. "older than dirt" - the slogan on the t-shirt my neighbour gifted me on my last birthday... bless her heart... 🤨). Electric trikes are perfect for those with vertigo too.
Absolutely love this place. There really is no point in looking further. I think I have just decided to move.
4 pm happy hour in Hawaii, many brewskis already...... Well done vlog as always !!!! Beautiful town, nice house, incredible. Love the location, but it is there beer or vino delivery ?
That place is truly a bargain. If that were here in Florida USA I'm guessing that would be a 2 million dollar property.
I'll see you end of May. this place is ... stunning
Really nice for a second home if you can find a neighbour who wants to take care of the garden.
Gorgeous
Sitting here in Houston, Texas manifesting my life in Italy
Wish I had the money to buy it for my retierment it’s everything I want land great town that second kitchen would go would be a sitting room with a bar in it for friends and family
I’m not stopping I’m going asoon as possible
First! ;) Happy Friday.
Don't worry about your knees. When I get up I sound like a bowl of rice crispy cereal!
🤣🤣
Hi there from Australia, just love all the properties and villages… we are looking to buy in Italy. Just wanted to know, do you live permanently in Italy or go back and forwards to Britain? Just interested as to how easy it is to move there?
Dave lives in Abruzzo permanently
Active loud smelling farmer next door, good luck.
?!?
Is there any well for watering the garden
Great house thanks
It’s a very nice place but it just looks dead…it needs people to get it alive and vibrant!
Oh what a shame ! I was hoping it was a house in its own plot away form neighbours !! far too overlooked for me i'm afraid
Having an after dinner cocktail and smoking a bowl with my honey while I watch this. (You asked! lol)
Dave can you find us some coastal properties for sale? Cheers Shell🇦🇺
I'm sure someone will be able to answer my question. Beginning at 11:03 minutes in the video-why are there bottles of water (I assume water) setting just outside all those doors? Multiple residences had them? Loved the video! I ❤ Italy!
I’ve been told by our neighbors that sparkling water keeps the neighborhood cats from using your entry as a bathroom stop
@@laurihines300 oh I see. Thank you for answering.
I love the olive trees but when the olives are ripe, how are they harvested? Do you pay someone to harvest them? Is there an easy way?
Is the olive oil easy to make? Is someone to be paid to make it?
For the olive harvest, neighbors help each other and then the harvested olive are taken to the oil mill . For more information you need to ask to the locals 🙂
can pay or put a net down with an electric tool you collect them then take them to frantoio where they weigh and press your olive, usually you pay around 1 euro per liter.
@@RoseBornagain that would be so interesting to watch!
Hi, we live a few houses along on the same road.
A little olive Grove like that would only take a couple of days of hard work to do by hand. Our Neighbour is a Frantoio (an oil press) he doesn't actualy charge per se, he takes a small percentage of the oil as payment.
So what is the solar panel on the pole just up from the BBQ for?
It would be for a night light where the communal path turns 90 degrees but looks like light has disappeared or its a downlight under the panels so it doesn't shine up into the bedrooms at night.
@@angelomasciantonio interesting, thank you
👍👍🙋♀💜
Looks like a triazoline floors.
I would like to c properties in southern Italy like Sorrento,Salerno Naples
Huge property with nice olive grove and garden. Qs: why show us the ugly,, junky storage areas first??
Perhaps because then the living areas seem even more stunning, and that is the memory of the home we carry away?
As much as I enjoy watching most of your videos I found it a bit to long in nature ,I watched it in double speed ,sorry . Most people who do the same as you in Italy have edited (or learn to edit) the Italy house/village tours to a min of 20 to 30 minutes max . Keep up the great work and yes I do love the houses you show ,I too will be in Italy soon to buy ,cheers .
This stunning home needed the slightly longer format to do it justice, I loved and appreciated every second of it.
Is the furniture inclueded in selling price
Thanks
Tony😊
Yes!
Thanks lovely property
Do they leave any furniture?
🍷🧆🍱
So you need a vehicle? Would an electric bike suffice?
Yes that would get you to the other local towns without too much peddlin'. Might even make it up to Penna as well (all u would need as u can just coast back downhill all the way!)
is it close to sport climbing areas? What's the address
Yes, it's close to all kinds of hiking and climbing areas. Have a look at end of town tour in vid when he is up at the Balzolo trail. You can see much more of it if u go to streetview in Maps. You can climb up from the open terrace area where there is a bar/Cafe seen in vid, past the "Penna" stone and keep going up along the ridge to Rifugio Pomilio at 1940m asl, starting point for longer hikes up to Blockhaus, anfiteatro delle Murelle and up-to highest peak at Monte Amaro at just under 2800m asl.
Property is in hamlet of "Capolegrotti", just off main road Ss263 on way up to Penna from Palombaro. Property is on left side of road towards mountain, just look for the olive trees. Large pasture area and the quadrangle roof over the outdoor area.
@@angelomasciantonio thanks found the area
Why don't they clean and paint the buildings?
Dogs are pack animals. That one seems lonely to me.
But, where're the people? One dog in all town???
I have just have a dinner with all god things
Why do you keep showing old videos over and over again????????HOW ABOUT SHOWING NEW VIDEOS
Baby cakes, you have GOT to stop with the “stunning” and “superb” overuse. Frankly, those should be reserved for the best of the best. Most of what you show are not that. They may be lovely, beautiful, well maintained, or requiring some TLC but NOT Stunning or superb.
Another deserted village on a hill
If you had the cash for Forte dei Marmi you wouldn't be watching Abruzzo videos
