2 Rings definitely has a sexy vibe. I can definitely see them using it as a weapon against InSomnia at concerts, lol. If you check out the other Showcase version of 2 Rings, where they're in the white outfits, you'll see them turn that up some. There's a static version of it in 4K that's the best version IMO, as well as fan cams for each member in 4k. Yoohyeon did tell everyone at a concert that she was working on making her butt bigger and to "please look forward to it" so I think the admiration is allowed. They're all tiny, it just usually harder to tell. I often forget that they're these tiny women (compared to me) because they always look so imposing on stage and you never really see them next to people who I would consider "normal sized". I know they have always had a really healthy relationship with food and working out so I don't worry about it to much. They will also get on to each other if they don't eat or skip meals so they do a good job of keeping each other healthy. Gahyun has always struggled the most with her weight based on what they've said in the past but she started doing Pilates a few years back and that's helped her to build strength and stay slim without having to diet. She does look like she's thinner than normal but she's packing some pretty defined abs in some of the concert photos from right after Justice came out so i don't think she's starving herself and is just focusing on being more physically fit. It was Handong who covered for Siyeon in the showcase and she did a phenomenal job! Sua did cover the final high harmony and "justice makes me Fight" line that Siyeon normally does. It actually garnered her a lot of attention because she, the main dancer, was covering the high notes that the main vocal normally does. Supposedly it's one of the things that got her attention to do the Hello82 secret duet that I mentioned on the last video. Every time I see the It's Live performance I get chills at the end when they all start headbanging around Siyeon. It seemed like it caught her off guard and it made her laugh but as someone who comes from a rock background it just feels powerful and fits the song so well.
I LOL reading your comment on Yoohyeon's building up her glutes. I will definitely look forward to it. LOL. I'll definitely look for those other showcase performances of 2 Rings. If they do perform these at their upcoming concerts in the US, I see what you mean. We'll totally eat it up, though, and OMG! I'll be so gay for DC!!!! You're right that they've always been small. I suppose I just miss Gahyun's baby face. Our maknae is growing up. Even after watching Justice twice I feel that I've missed a lot during my initial reaction. The first time I saw 2 Rings I thought it meant their earrings since they were all wearing hoop earrings, and Dreamcatcher never wear matching earrings. However, I soon realized it was about motorcycles (Jiu loves motorcycles), but it has another meaning which is obvious when you read the lyrics. I'll leave it there. The trouble with Justice choreo is that they can't hold the high notes while dancing, so it's better without the dancing. The correct spelling is Gahyun. When she joined the company they changed the spelling to get the three 'yeons'. She changed it back while you were gone. Her passport has always had the correct Gahyun spelling on it.
Good eye on the loop earrings. So listening to 2 rings the other night and I caught myself singing along with chorus. Thankfully I was by myself when I realized that 1. They were singing it sexy like and 2. That the words were “harder, deeper, faster!!!” What???!!! Seriously, I have a motorcycle and there were never times when I had to go harder or deeper… maybe faster but not the first two!!! I’ll have to analyze the lyrics now. ☺️ Thanks for the info on Gahyun. I thought I lost my mind and have been misspelling her name all this time… which, technically I was, actually. I agree about Justice choreo and sustaining the high notes. I did notice that SuA stopped short when I was expecting her to continue, but with the magic of synthesizers (I think) the producers were able to match her/their pitch(?)
