      I have no doubt that all the media will again announce that "Ferrari is faster than Mercedes". As they were announcing every season for the last 4 years. Only to fool the audience to watch the races. I can give you a prediction right now - whichever team takes Lewis Hamilton will win the season. Not because he's so fast, but because of political reasons. So, if Ferrari wants to win they don't need to improve the car or engine. They just need to cash 80 millions for the political icon to drive their car. And the competition will suddenly be harshly penalized even if they aren't guilty. Their engineers will quit, or sabotage the car, and all kinds of shit will happen to Mercedes and Red Bull. So..... Ferrari, that's my advice.

    • @cinegraphics
      @cinegraphics 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jussieronen3707 yeah. Because conspiracies happen all the time. Open a law book, it's right there. The media is trying to convince us that conspiracies don't exist, but lawyers know that's not true. Thousands of people end up in prison every year for being involved in conspiracies. And those are just the ones that weren't lucky, so they got caught. 95% of others never get caught. Conspiracies in car industry are very frequent. Remember the conspiracy of the European car manufacturers to rig the prices and split the market? That one got discovered and punished, but who knows how many of those were never discovered. Definition from the law book: "A conspiracy is an agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime at some time in the future". So, a planned bank robbery starts as a conspiracy. There's also a wider definition which says: "......to commit an unlawful or immoral act at some time in the future."
      What is happening in the last 7 years in Formula 1 is a typical example of bribery. And bribery also starts as a conspiracy. They had to agree how much Mercedes should pay to get this special treatment. So, it started as a conspiracy, and on top of that it's also bribery. Criminalists would have lots of work in F1, and in certain popular media outlets, related to Mercedes and their drivers.

I understand certain images just won't be available from 2020, ie two specific people in close conversation, but I would think for the most part 2020 images would be available. With the reality of COVID, images of groups of people without face-mask tend to actually take my attention briefly away from the content to wondering why they aren't wearing masks, before inevitably cluing in that it's an older image.

    I’m not sure getting rid of Vettel is as strong a move as some think: In my biased oppinion, Vettel, Hamilton, Bottas and Raikkönen are the best development drivers on the grid - maybe not the fastest, but the biggest help for the engineers developing the car. When Bottas left Williams, their performance dropped. Same with Hamilton, and arguably the same with Vettel at Res Bull.
    I don’t think the Ferrari will improve as much without the feedback of Seb. Although Sainz has helped McLaren improve, a lot of the development still comes from engineers. Look at Haas a few years ago: the feedback from Grosjean showed that the car hadn’t gotten any faster. Same thing as Ferrari in 2018: they made a wrong development strategy, and lost time to Mercedes.
    LeClerc outperforming Vettel in a poor car gives me vibes of Red Bull’s current situation. Without good driver feedback, the car will improve too slowly, compared to the competition. Aston Martin getting Vettel might prove a master stroke from Otmar!

  • @OZZl3

    I think they should have a Strategy Department and a Team Well-being department (if they don't already have those).
    Well-being department (prob. there is a better name) focuses on making a great working environment. I think Ferrari today there is too much pressure and when things don't go as well as though there seems to be a clear disappointment and blaming going on. I have no proof of this but it's just my feeling, just listning to radio messages to Vettel during 2020 season I got this feeling. Many other teams are very supportive even when the race didn't go so well. My feeling at least is that it's mostly Ferrari and Red Bull that are stuck in the old way of thinking. If a driver has lots of support and belief in him/her even when failing then that driver usually makes less misstakes and drives better. This department should report to top management but work with the entire team - anonymity important. They should be present as much meetings as possible and draw own conclusions so for example drivers do not need to report things directly - 2 people - hard to be anonymous.
    Strategy looks back on the previous races and tries to come up with possible solutions for the future when a bad strategy was picked. It also focuses on the next race of course and compares with similar previous races what was a winning strategy then, as well as the current race to take decisions as the race unfolds. I think Ferrari did better this year than in many previous years though but there is still things that could be improved.
    Continue to explore gray areas like ALL teams but not implement things that are likely to be banned in season. Mercedes DRS for example only banned this year.

    Unpopular opinion, but I think if Ferrari can get their engine up to par, the car will be top 3 again. Ferrari needs to get their head in the game for what concerns strategy and pitstops. i think that ferrari is technically able to close the gap to mclaren, racing point and renault. But they have problems with the reliability in their pitstops, strategy and organisation, so even if they are fast enough that might not be enough.
