How long do you make the long tail if you are casting on 109 stitches?

How many balls of yarn did you use?
I listed all of that on my blog but I used 1 skein of the bonus bundle. If you're using the regular sized skeins, then you need 3 of them.
How do you connect multiple colors?

Does this work with *just* the gartor stitch or however to ur spell it LOL! I don’t know how to purl yet but if it doesn’t work I can learn how to purl
It won't look the same. Learn how to purl! You'll be able to do so much! It's worth it
Do you alway knit English style or do you switch it up?
I just got the hang of continental and like it better but I switch off depending on the sts I have to do.
