If someone can give me the names of:
- a freeware and lightweight screen recorder to replace OBS
- a freeware and lightweight video editor that can export in 1080p and still lets me add the fade outs I've been adding to the videos
... I'll consider a request for a remix.

I've been sticking with Bandicam for lightweight, but yea it's not quite "free" :(

I know Bandicam very well... but yeah, I get it, it's rare to see the good stuff being more accessible than this.

only one I can think of for recording is wf-recorder, but that's linux only, so it's unlikely to be of much use to you
for editing, there's kdenlive and olive

actually, xbox game bar's recorder has worked for me pretty well for me in terms of performance, but its obv tailored towards games so using it on regular programs might not work as well-

@@RoxasFromPoss If I'm not mistaken, I stopped using it because it caused issues on the recording's audio. I could just do it separately, but eh...
