これ単体でも素晴らしいんだけど、もしSS版のわくぷよをプレイする機会があったら是非この曲がかかる前の階層から続けて聴いてみて欲しい。マジで燃える。
In my opinion, this is the best version of Fiend Empire. It's just very pretty.
This feels somewhat nostalgic, as if it's a last goodbye. Maybe Compile knew this was going to be one of the last games they would develop.
It's not their last. Compile Heart is a thing.

Karel Mirim made a mistake writing that
Sega has actually used Madou Monogatari music and Compile is still alive under Compile Heart.
And also, In Puyo 7’s universe, curry doesn’t exist. Whoopsie!

由緒ある魔導BGMで様々なアレンジを経てきたから魔導４にもあると信じてる
この曲が魔導物語ARSに出てきた曲って知った後にプレイ動画見て、その後ここの英語のコメで誰かが最後のお別れのようって書いてるの見て、じーんとした。
ARSだとアルルのマップ画面？の曲だったけど、歳月を経て終盤の作品で神曲を復刻させたと思うと、込み上げてくるものがある。

アルティメットタワー3から段々と世界から切り離され荘厳になっていく雰囲気が急にこの曲に切り替わる。最高かよ。

Not gonna lie, I associate this theme with Arle more then Spacetime Journey.
Madou Monogatari is where these characters actually come from, it's where their life stories were shown to us so I guess that makes a lot of sense, Arle never really had a theme in Puyo Puyo.
Kinda miss Madou Monogatari because the games that came out of it were so much more varied.

I really want to play all of these games but they are japan exclusive and well i don't understand... i want to play the more serious puyo puyo games. Sure i love the crazy and funny adventure the puyo crew go on now a days. Buy i was to see how the stories were back when Compile owned puyo...

I've played through them totally in Japanese, and I don't speak a ounce of Japanese. Its completely doable, and recommend as they're phenomenal 👌

Doppelgänger Schezo had to be given a different name when he returned in Quest and this was his debut game so I have no idea
@@STAROCiDEI mean yeah, but Schezo’s theme in Madou Monotagari ARS (The gorgeous man who defiles the gods) was remixed and used as his theme in Puyo 20th anniversary. So I think SEGA can use the theme?
@@RawMayonnaise and one of the final dungeon themes was a remix of TRY OUT. I don't think they have a problem with the music.
If you ask me, ARS did it best.
While not bad in its own right, something just doesn't feel right with this version. Perhaps it's the higher key used.

@@Shoe3003 Hard to say as it's only slightly different, comparing to the .ssf file in Winamp this has a bit more oomph to it, perhaps a bit more reverb.
