BEL this is the same festival she played this summer when she did, 'I Have Nothing' among other great songs. She has performed at this Festival every year since she won NGT 2014, with the exception of the L.A. years and Covid years which overlap some. Some of her more memorable performances have come here.
Bel I just heard your comment about vocal transitions of going from chest voice to head voice and back. Let me tell you about Daneliya Tuleshova. This young lady, she is 6 months Angelina's junior, makes about as seamless transitions as you might have heard. I'll give three links that show that ability very well. I just ran into an example from when she was 10-11 on The Voice Kids Ukraine 2017. It is a truncated version of 'Rise Up' by Aundra Day. Listen to what this young girl does at full volume at the hardest point of this song and how good it sounds. You don't have to react to any of these I just want you to hear what she can do. Both Angelina and Daneliya deserve places at the top of this generations singers.

Daneliya is going to be one AGT The All-Stars 2023 on Monday's at 8pm on NBC. She was on AGT 2020 at 13-14 and made it to the finals. Finishing 6th overall.
You will find on your discovery of this massively talented Kazakh singer is going to be a monster musically. Dimash has called his diminutive country-woman a 'National Treasure'. Daneliya, like Angelina, is a singularly beautiful young woman. Daneliya has moved permanently to the U.S. to continue her studies and to be closer to opportunities for her musical career.
This was an amazing performance! But if you think this one showed her overcoming her "body age," you should watch her a year later, at age 12, taking on James Brown's classic song "It's a Man's World" on this same outdoor stage in Norway! She killed it and even left the band members and their conductor in awe (Official Military Staff Band of Norway, no less!)!
Angelina has a latent natural rasp to her voice, much like Morissette, and when they put their foot to the gas, that rasp becomes more pronounced, if they choose it to be. That is the genius of great singers. The right time to use various tools.

This was the opening song for a 14 song concert in 2017 when Angelina was 11 years old. This concert would be my choice to attend if I had a time machine. Angelina and her band were both on the top of their game and we can tell they fed energy off each other. Someone should do a livestream showing this concert.

This is not at all a sad song and certainly not sung in a sad way. But I get an emotional lump in my throat and tears in my eyes whenever I hear and watch this because I'm so proud of her (like a "virtual grandpa") because of what she's able to do and accomplish! Just want to hug her and put a gold medal around her neck for vocal Olympics!

Jesse, this is one of my favorite Angelina performances. It is a concert in 2017 and she is just 11 years old! She takes this jazz, blues number and injects so much energy, passion, and grit, it is a masterpiece. I don't think I have seen as much grit in any song she's done as this. I hope there is more like this coming in her new album. Peace.

Let the little animal out of her cage. It's Angelina with no parental guidance. This performance is a gem and very telling of what this child can do. It's not normal for an eleven year old to be able to soulfully sing this song. Angelina doesn't just sing lyrics, she weaves a blanket of emotion full of texture. So glad you got to this, thanks man!

Yeah, she be all about jazz ... she be jazz. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snack, she eats, drinks and breaths jazz. She tries to put on a show and do other genres but even then it leaks out.

Yeah, in people-years Angelina is 11yo here but in artist-years she is more like 37!! And how she so smoothly rides the jazz track, lets the dogs out, and brings em to heel on command! Masterful! This one gets way too little attention!

The contrast with "Cry me a river" which she sang later in this concert is immense. This one is rock and soul power, the other one pure delicate jazz! If anything proves she is born to sing (professional) it was here! Fascinating!
For me this is similar to "I put a spell on you" another sassy song where she let the dogs out. Wonderfully. I wish she'd let them out again. We need the excitement!
Yes, at 11, she could do anything. She is 17 on 10 Jan 2023. Watch what she can do when she releases her first album this summer; She can do anything she wants, and the musical world may never be the same!
When she needs to punch it and hold it - she does it. Doesn't dilute or screech, it's the note and on pitch. When she wails like Aretha she continues to nail it
This was the opening number from her Proysenfestivalen concert in 2017. She was on fire that day! Also from the same concert are Diamonds Are Forever and Cry Me a River, both mind-blowing. She has an ear-piece, which seems to threaten to fall out all the time! The band is HOT, especially the trombonist. I wish I was there!
This was her first real concert and is one that just left me stunned.....!
Just in that years first quarter, she sang in Seoul/Korea in front of 40,000+ people (charity for emergency vaccination).

When she opened her 2022 Norway concerts with Mt. Everest, I commented that THAT was the way to set the tone to open a concert. So was this. Several other songs from this concert are exquisite. In particular Diamonds Are Forever and Cry Me A River. But every one is great. She was on fire. In this song note the subtle lyric change from Etta's version to be age appropriate.
While the audio is not great, it's clear enough to tell this was a stellar performance. Would love to get a good recording of it. So appreciative of the effort that was put into enhancing it.

She knows, even at 11, how the genre is meant to be sung. Imagine if this had been recorded and mixed properly instead of this video from a fan cam. Angelina was feelin it that day. With the same band behind her, she does Cry Me a River-a 180 degree reversal from this, and she kills it. So many times Angelina takes on a song that is so iconic that I thought it should be left alone-Bohemian Rhapsody, California Dreamin, Billie Jean, etc., etc.
Julie London’s 1950’s recording of Cry Me a River was one of those. But watch Angelina give us just a beautiful, nuanced version that never loses the retro style of this song, but is all Angelina. This concert was the summer between Angelina finishing the 5th grade & before she skipped the 6th grade to go straight to the 7th. Can you picture Angelina a few months earlier in the elementary school talent show? As a father who watched his 3 kids in elementary school talent shows, it boggles my mind to think of Angelina being one of the contestants. BTW, she changed the lyrics & title of this song to "Lovin' You" instead of "I Just Want To Make Love To You."
The song „I Just Want to Make Love to You” is a 1954 blues song written by Willie Dixon, first recorded by Muddy Waters, and released as "Just Make Love to Me". The song reached number four on Billboard magazine's R&B Best Sellers chart.
In 1960, Etta James recorded the song for her debut album At Last!. Her rendition also served as the B-side to her hit of that name. In 1996, it was released as a single in the UK and other European markets after being featured in a Diet Coke advertising campaign.

Love this concert; a great band and Angelina at the top of her craft. So relaxed, and she's having so much fun belting it out. Just look at her move! It's rare to hear her sing like this, so she probably got some stern looks from her 'team' after this one! :)

This is a real Gem every time Angela opens up her mouth I am surprise I’ve been listening her since 1 1/2 and yet she still surprises me give me goosebumps on my shivers love this girl I said been watching her since is one and a half human inspiration and a joy in my life
The band is the same one that she had when she performed "Feeling Good" at age 10. She had strings in "Feeling Good", but the wind instrumentalists are the same. They are excellent.
There is another performance where the personality of Angelina comes through as the leader of the band. You really need to watch this video before it's too hard to find. The link is below.
This song is so awesome, she defies what you have heard to this point, if you were following her chronologically which I was. The other song I have linked below is similar but shows a different aspect as well. That huskiness in her voice is naturally occurring. If you listen to 'Gloomy Sunday' and other songs in that time period you can hear the rasp in her voice. She has been able to control it as she gets older, but I'll bet you it would be there whenever she would think it makes the song better. Morissette has the same latent rasp that you can hear when she speaks in Tag and gets excited and when she laughs around the house it comes out. That is why I think Mori can do those vocal breaks as easily as she does. Angelina when singing 'Feeling Good' at the indoor concert when she sings, "it's a new dawn, a new day" and the following lyrics at the end of every one of those you can hear the start of a vocal break. She just doesn't exploit it. So her ability to produce a growl up at her range end is not an improbable to happen naturally.
Angelina was asked where is her favorite place in the world she said, " when I am singing on stage is the best place for me to be. When I am not on stage I am thinking of when the next time I will be back there." So that is why she is so chill. She has also been asked why she isn't nervous or scared before a performance. Angelina said, "singing is like breathing to me, why would I be afraid to breathe?!!" That's our young lady.

She sang a whole concert at this event. This was one of my favorites, but my most favorite of hers here is Diamonds Are Forever. You should try to watch as many of her performances here as possible. Yes, she is wearing the ear monitors because she keeps adjusting them the whole time. Personally, I think she has big ears and they didn’t want to stay in for her. By the time she got to AGT, you will notice that they taped them in. Please don’t miss out on watching this whole concert. You will be blown away by eleven-year-old Angelina!

In this song, at the age of eleven, she makes us believe in the impossible, our hearts race, our bodies shiver, words are lacking and there are emotions left over!
