NEW WOODMIZER LX50 Super sawmill - Assembly and first use! *001

- I own and manage about 100 acres of classified forest in western Indiana. Hence the channel name =)
This video is my first, so please forgive it's simplicity and quality.
It's just a short introduction to the WOODMIZER LX50 SAWMILL. It's a new model, just released in the Fall of 2023 by Woodmizer.
There was a high demand for it because it's at a low price point, yet it's got some nice features for an entry-level mill.
I'll be posting more detailed videos later showing its use.
I'm a beginner sawyer and don't pretend to be an expert but I'm having fun with it already! I'll mostly be sawing ash, walnut, cherry, hickory, and oak from fallen trees around my property.

Hi - yes, it's been great. I'm still an amateur, but I've cranked out a lot of board feet so far. The mill has been reliable. Sips gas. Biggest thing is change the blade when it starts cutting a little slower. One blade last me about 3-4 average logs. I've been meaning to make another video. Will do soon.

You earned a loyal Subscriber! Great video! It is awesome to see others doing similar content as myself. We have a Wood-Mizer LT15 Standard with a 19HP Kohler. Having the sawmill along with starting up a TH-cam channel has made this adventure an absolute blast so far! Keep up the engaging content! You will have a blast with the sawmill!

I plan to do more ... like Wilson Forest Lands. He uses the LT15 Start and I really like his format. See you around!

Currently assembling mine and I’m missing bolts, nuts and washers here and there
It was a little frustrating, but Woodmizer was good about it, they even sent me a free sawblade.
Yeah they came good for me too. So far I love the mill now though
