    Very well done bud! I know how hard it is to squeeze so much information into a short vid and you did a great job.
    The tank looks awesome.
    Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

    I see a spot you missed with the silver while you were working on the exhaust. I know the feeling of setting down a color thinking your down only to move onto the next and notice one tiny piece that got over looked...so frustrating isn't it lol, but I think its things like that which make having the model finished all the more worth it.

    The Gloss Varnish didnt look bad at all, But i think maybe Satin Varnish cause its in between gloss and matt varnish. And good cal with the Silver instead of Gold for the Aquila on the front it fits the green better

    @MarneusAugustaCalgar no probs mate will pick you one up :) i found it dries quicker and thins the paint better than vallejo thinner lol. only draw back is it makes the paint more delicate so a varnish after painting is essential :)

    Thank you for your Tutorial. That little extra effort did help. I like how you put your own spin to it. Thank you for all your hard work. Keep it Kool and Real Peace!

    @CranberryMuffinmanz forgot to say at the end of this video that after doing the pin wash i go over the whole model with satin varnish. i only need the gloss for the pin wash mate

    Brilliant video - very well presented. Must find more of your videos. And well painted.

    Looks like you forgot to paint a hose (metallic) at the back that is connecting the tank with the drums. If the tank is facing you it's the bottom right hose.
    Thanks for the video, it was overdue in my opinion. I missed those =)

    @OrcPainterNerd not a problem, ive only been in this hobby since august 09 but its been little stuff like that i learned to watch for. yet i can agree that with a model of such size as that one the odds of missing one tiny bit of detail are increased. nothing frustrates me more when working on a model epsecially if im assembly line painting is when i go 2 steps ahead only to see a spot i missed lol. i would assume that after painting that little piece there is nothing else lol:)!

    Looks really nice, good job and thanks for the tips very useful. I like to use the VGC inks to darken the VMA metalics, just adding them direct to the paint.

    Two Questions. Can you make a tutorial on how you did the highlighting on this tank, maybe using another model or maybe just describing the technique(s)? Also after you spray the model with the gloss varnish and then do all your rivet/recess shading, do you then spray the whole model with a matte varnish?

    Hey really great job. Very good pin washing examples.

  • @OrcPainterNerd
    @OrcPainterNerd  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @CranberryMuffinmanz i know i need to be more specific bud lol. i used terracota blazing orange and sunblast yellow and mixxed them in all over the pallet for different shades of the 3 colours.
    but before i used the rust colours i painted the exhausts in boltgun metal :)

  • @CranberryMuffinmanz

    @utrinque3NDparatus i tried but the tamiya stuff mate is ace it has a tiny bit of oil in the mix so it holds to your mini in anyway you want like streaks for example with outh going into a powdery mess :)

  • @SpaceWolfPainter
    @SpaceWolfPainter 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @TheSeasonman1 yes i do but pre shading gives a more cartoony false look to a model in my opinion look at my blood angel rhino tutorial that is pre shaded it looks nice but a little carotoony depends on what look you want :)
