Crazy to think about it huh? We imagine it being like big boy Lego but you literally have to think about lubricating every moving part, every torque value for hundreds or thousands of parts. I do wonder what that sponge is for though.

@@simracingyogi626 prevents the fuel from slushing around in corners, because you want to make sure the engine always gets its fuel. The g-forces and motions during a race can cause the fuel to move around in the tank and can cause the fuel pump to suck air instead of fuel, the course sponge prevents this

@@suketgajah8107 Its Nm - Newtons per meter. 10Nm is the force of 10N with a 1 meter lever action.
10N is equal to 1Kg, so 10Nm is the same force that a 1Kg weight at the end of a 1 meter rod would produce.

it's good they tell us the torque figures, you know for when we have to build our own gp bikes to go to the local supermarket
I'm sure it's useful to RC250 owners. Like tank bolts, front disc bolts. Not everything they show is exclusively for racing
Seems easier than an ikea wardrobe.

Cool video. Definitely ASMR vibes and relaxing to watch. When I read "build," though, I guess was expecting more about the engineering, tuning, etc also. This video is assembly. When I think of "building," assembly is definitely a part of it, but so much more goes into building these fantastic machines. Would be cool to see more of that from RBM.

For limiting the fuel movement in the tank, the sponge helps creating a sort of resistance :-)

First time hearing a 2 cylinder that sounds like 1 cylinder. This is actually the video I've been looking for decades. I actually found a video hearing 2 - 2 system exhaust and I am now satisfied 😌. rather than a typical 2-1 exhaust like r3, mt-07, 302, etc.
Sorry to burst your bubble but this is a 1 cilinder engine. Both exhaust ports have their own pipe to improve gasflow
its a single cylinder nitwit. you watched them put in an engine with only one cylinder, why on earth would it be twin cylinder??
