I came home December 4th 2023 to our home of 21 years engulfed in fire. Not a single wall was standing after it was all done. We lived in the middle of our farm in the country. Several people saw the smoke but no one called it in. They thought we were burning trash. I called 911 and had to sit and watch it burn down till the fire departments arrived. It’s the worst thing and feeling I have ever experienced. I have a video of our fire on my channel. We had 3 generations of family heirlooms and other collections our collections went back to our family in the late 1800s. It is getting better every day.
"My heart breaks for you. I understand the pain of loss all too well. On August 23, 2024, we lost our home, and with it, everything we held dear. The most devastating part is that our beloved pets, Kobe and Noel, didn't survive the tragedy. It's hard to put into words the grief we're feeling. Thirty-plus years of memories, gone in an instant. The thought of starting over without our furry family members by our side is almost too much to bear. We're still trying to come to terms with the magnitude of our loss."
@@reginaschell7903 that is horrible and sad. I can imagine losing pets. I don’t know what we would have done if we didn’t have a second place to go to. I had some people tell us, well it’s just things and you can’t take it with you. I wanted to say let’s take your most valuable possessions and set them on fire. If someone has never had a house fire they really can’t comprehend the process from the fire to months or years of recovering emotionally. We were more fortunate than others to have another place, most people don’t. Starting over is hard, much hard than people think. I be pray you are doing better and God is blessing you. Thank you.
Thank you! I just came home from work today to a fire that happened. The smoke damage was the worst part. It was a blessing my dogs survived. I pray that State Farm will take care of me here in Texas.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. Im here looking for some answers after experiencing my own house fire. I can't seem to make sense if anything anymore 😓
