    This dudes line art is so smooth. When i do line art, the lines look like i was drawing on a roller coaster that was having a malfunction.

    I have used Photoshop since 3.0 and what used to be called "Painter". I just discovered Krita this week and have used it to make a few sketches, inked drawings, and even an animation. I think what's key is that is has a great community teaching it other to use it. Thanks for posting this video. I'm going to redo an inked drawing with the assistant.

      Hush up, you don't have a long way to go. You WILL be there. Looking at your skill now and expecting your skill to be at the same level NOW is not the way to do it. Just look at it as your future. Look at the talent and see it as goals rather than impossible competition. I believe in you.

    1:16 omgg i remember, i watched this video like once, and I thought it was really clever, used this tip like one or twice before well stop because I kinda like the grey sketch. But sometimes, i still use it do differentiate my different layers. I totally forgot where I learned that, but seeing this video just shows how even when I barely knew how to use Krita (and draw), i already used your great tips. It was a few years ago, i kinda stopped drawing digitally meanwhile, but recently, I've realized how much I love art, and your videos are full of great useful tips. Thanks again, and btw, i read you comic a while ago, it was really cool, and when I learned you made it, using Krita, i was soo happy. Krita deserves much more recognition, it's great, complete and free, but people keep downloading/buying what they know, so like procreate, Photoshop, cps, it makes me kinda sad but it's great to know that creators like you display how great it is :D

    My son wanted a drawing pad so I got him a Wacom. The software that came with it is more for art and not for drawing so Krita looks like a good place to start.

    • @isabel-eq8gm
      @isabel-eq8gm 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ygolohcysp8755He probably means art that resembles traditional painting/painting as opposed to line-based drawing. I've seen Wacoms come with Corel Painter so it makes sense. Just a small language issue, no biggie.

    Holy shit this is helpful! I had no idea Krita had some of these features. The vanishing point aid in particular is no doubt going to be a massive help as long as I can remember to use it. While I understand vanishing points, even if I'm doing multiple in one piece, it still gets severely annoying when I have to line up a lot of things.
